I know this was10 months ago but, ordered yesterday as a tester for $65 for 3.4 OZ , But was priced much higher elsewhere so I grabbed it..

Was never really into Indie fragrances, but just recently sampled Puerto Rico by City Rhythm, very impressed! Just ordered more samples from them, Miami-Tropical Confessions & St. John Prive. Also found out about Prisma Parfums, and ordered samples of Topaz & Zircon, looking forward to them!

@@detsportsfan18 u know that prisma is city rhythm right? It’s the original perfumer. Topaz is the original batch of Miami and so on but they had a really bad split when the perfumer found out the owner was trying to clone his batches. I’m staying away from both brands as I don’t wanna be part of the drama if I post for prisma I get hate from CR fans and if I post for CR I get hate from Prisma fans. Personally Prisma batches are better but I’m not dealing with it. Imaginary authors and coastal Carolina Parfums are the best ones out there imo

@@FragranceDOUD Yes sir, I learned all about the backstory with all that, indeed, but wanted to try them both out for myself, to compare & contrast kind of thing, no harm in that I figure. I can imagine both sides can be exhausting to deal with, that's for sure.

@@darklawdshadow5679 I’m confused. So it doesn’t smell like invictus. It’s smells like watermelon with the Invictus style dna underneath. I don’t watch other people and I don’t actually contribute to FragComm outside of being a reviewer and some livestreams. If that’s what people are saying it’s wrong but if they are saying it’s like a watermelon invictus then they are correct as well. Invictus is a bubble gum sweet fragrance that has a slight aquatic vibe and many other fragrances are created in that style like first instinct together, ralphs club, and so on. This is just a watermelon take on that style of dna so I could also say a watermelon first instinct together or a watermelon Hawas or a watermelon blah blah blah and it would have the same meaning here but invictus is the father of that style so that’s why if u say many people including MYSLF pun intended use invictus as that starting point it’s because it’s that style of dna. And if ur saying u don’t get that style of dna then not sure I can have a solid constructive argument with you here as I would find that a tad ignorant just like thinking this isn’t an original review. I wanna give u a bit of a news flash but if u saw behind the scenes with reviewers most people don’t watch each others content. U can believe that if u want but outside of livestreams I haven’t watched more than 30 seconds of single other persons fragrance video in over two years I actively avoid them as having a channel burns u out enough

Yea Bakkarat 540 Fragrance world. And CDNM intense combo is fire. Those clones work great as the real thing I suppose. The Wife said I smell like fall. She don’t even know I used the frag that I got for her 😂

Smells good. Tried it today with a tester to bring home. But Le parfum that i have a full bottle of is better. All i get with Elixir is A fresh opening that dries down to a smooth vanilla skipping the mid notes. I cannot smell any pepper. Le Parfum is fresh but then it goes into a leather and iris mid for a while and then it become s beautiful soft vanilla with a bit of the top freshness from the maninka fruit. I compared them side by side and it´s very redundant to own both. I would say Elixir is more refined and i would buy it if i didn´t have Le parfum.

Great video! I appreciate your insight. I just ordered on Scent Rush and now I’m having a bit of buyers regret. I own the original Aventus Absolu and I’m wondering if that bottle with become “triple aged” with time? Or is this a tweaked composition?

Great fragrance! I picked this one up for a steal on Facebook. It’s unfortunately been discontinued, as it is no longer available on Penhaligon’s website. Such a shame. If people want a bottle, they’d better get one before people start price gouging

Strong High dollar unisex colognes with something to make sure it leans masculine at the dry down stage. I see you think like I do. 😂. But I have clones to rouge 540. And Adventist that’s Frag worlds 540 and CDNM intense. Never thought those 2 would work. Idk if I should try that 😂 I’ll have to get Tommy Bahama to mix with light blue intense. I already offered to buy my wife some real Baccarat rouge and she said no😂

I got this one and I have the EDP ….. the EDP smells much better …. The le parfum have too much lavender

Went shopping today with some relatives and came home with 4 fragrances. 1 Million-Royal and Parfum ( Liked it even more cos it smells fruity spicy to me ) Blind bought Dylan Blue and Bought Hugo Boss-Intense. All the people with me loved it. Many seem to trash 1 Million-Parfum and say it´s feminine but all i smell is a fruity mix of notes and it smells really great haha. Good to have in a small collection

I disagree with the guys statement below. Dua is an acquired taste. If u know u like their oils then ya give it a shot but I def reccomend getting a decant of the original

Dua has done an inspired fragrance of Watermelon Moonshine called Shine of the Watermelon . In the Dua , the watermelon note is sweeter and a bit more pronounced. The Copper Still has a stronger Sassafras note in the base . I find the Dua projects a bit better , last a bit longer , and on the whole , I prefer it a bit better , but all depends on what notes you like more prominent . And at $33 for 34 ml., much more affordable .

See I’ve heard that my issue is I’m 0/56 with DUa. Their oils are to thick for me so I already am 100% sure I won’t like it not cause if the scent but because of the vegetable oil thickness which I’ve heard from two others who tried it that also don’t like duas that this is similar

How’s it compare to Creed’s other freshies? Milliseme Imperial, Erolfa, Taberome Milliseme, Silver Mountain Water. I have all those in my collection, & can’t go wrong with/another., but is it different enough for me to get it?
