SHE IS SUCH A CLUMSY IDIOT AND THEN STARTS CRYING LIKE A CRYBABY WHO LOST HER DUMMY! AND THEN SHE FINDS A KANGAROO WHO IS ALSO SAD. SO THEN THIS KANGAROO GIVES HER SOME WEIRD FOOD, LIKE SHE TAKES DRUGS FROM A STRANGER! SHE BETTER WATCH OUT FOR THAT AND THEN THIS DRUG GIVES HER ANIMAL SPEAKING POWERS. LIKE WHAT?! We had to watch this in school it was torture. When the teacher went to the bathroom i turned it off and played a jeffy video instead and broke the dvd. I went to detention and got suspended for watching sml in class now i got grounded but i am sneaking though. And i am still watching sml.

As an Australian, now 42 we had this movie on VHS. I have been trying to find it to watch with my now 17 year to impart the understanding and lessons of the innocent victims or hate and bigotry. I have finally found it to hand down to my daughter as an important lesson for the care and compassion for those around us.

Been trying to find this for years cause the only thing I remember is being so sad at the end and the kangaroo leaving and me being so sad he’s gone . I still don’t get it now watching today .
