Your take on the Bengals' defense is completely wrong. You were correct about having some sleeper edge rushers that can be very good, but you acted like losing DJ Readerwouldo really affect our run-stoppingg abilities when we still have BJ Hil,l who has also been very good for us. Our Linebackers could be better but they aren't bad by any means. Germaine Pratt and Logan Wilson have been with us for a while and have been successful for us (Germaine Pratt even being the one who intercepted Derek Carr to end the playoff win drought in 2021). Now when it comes to secondary, you totally missed on all your takes. You said our cornerbacks are 'aging' meanwhile we have some of the youngest cornerbacks in the NFL. Somebody else in the comments mentioned this as well, there were 35 db's that were under 24 years old in the NFL last year. The Bengals had 4 of them. DJ Turner, Cam Taylor-Britt, Dax Hill, and Josh Newton are 23, 24, 23, 23 respectively. Yes Mike Hilton is aging, but he's the only one, and even so he has 4 young players he can teach and mold to be as good as him ninja turtles and master splinter style. Our numbers weren't the best, that is true, but it didn't slow us down nearly as much as your making it out to have. Also we didn't "address it" because we have enough young talent that our corners are only going to get better which is why we picked up Vonn Bell and Geno Stone to strengthen our secondary instead of replacing young corners. When it comes to the schedule, I agree that the chiefs will be a tough game, but it is more winnable than you are making it out to be. We've won in arrowhead during playoff games let alone week 2. Without our probable start-of-season slump the Bengals could easily pull out a win. I agree with splitting games with the ravens and browns, they are tough teams, but not so much the steelers. The steelers defense is very good, but their offense is lackluster and could easily be 2 wins for the bengals. As long as we beat their defense with our offense, we can win both games. I understand losing to the Cowboys in Dallas, but the Eagles have been on a slow decline since their super bowl 57 appearance, and I can't see the Bengals losing to them in Cincy. Lastly, come on it's the chargers now you're just saying they'll win for the sake of the under. Doesn't matter if we're in LA, the chargers are in a mini rebuild right now and I am 99% certain this will not be a loss for the Bengals. The "every team loses a game it shouldn't" thing could totally happen, but it's also very realistic they win that game. You can't just predict that a team will lose a game it shouldn't because you can't predict it. I have a feeling you only said this to fulfill the under prediction. The Bengals are not overrated at all by going into next season. In fact they are very underrated. Based on their team and schedule, sportsbooks and other sports critics have them as large underdogs, and some people have them as their dark horse super bowl winners. Overall I think this video missed on many of the takes in it, ranging from unpopular picks, to being completely wrong about our corners' ages. I appreciate your attempt to criticize the Bengals and point out any flaws, but respectfully, most of the takes were not good.

OMG! so many things wrong in this video!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣tell me you're a chiefs fan or ravens fan without telling me lmfao 1. not only has burrow been healthy the whole offseason, he will play the first preseason game.😂and have you seen him throwing the ball in training camp? he doing just fine. you spoke too soon lol. 2. amarius mims might not even be starting considering trent brown is at RT. 3. zach moss is a downgrade to joe mixon, but they got chase brown and if you watched the bengals play weeks 13-18, you can tell that's he really good. 4. how are the bengals defensive backs "aging"? last season, dj turner was a rookie and is currently 22 years old. cam taylor britt is only 24 and is probably the most underrated cornerback in the nfl. dax hill is currently 24. josh newton is currently 21. geno stone is 25. jordan battle is 23. the only "aging" defensive backs they have is mike hilton and vonn bell and both of them still play very good. this secondary might be the youngest in the nfl and the biggest problem wasn't because of the players not being good. it was mainly because of bad communication since vonn bell left the team. the 3 main players that played poorly in the secondary was nick scott, chidobe awuzie, and dj turner. 2 out of those 3 players aren't even on the team anymore and the other one (turner) was a 2nd round rookie that put in the starting lineup in the 2nd half of the season because cam taylor britt got injured. the front 7 of the defense is also overlooked and pretty good. 5. the bengals played 14 games a team with a winning record and 9 games against a team that made the playoffs. both of those are at least tied for the most since 2000. and remind you, about half of the year, burrow didn't even play and he played through a calf injury in the first 4 games and the bengals still went 9-8. this season, they only got to play 9 games against a team with a winning record despite playing in the toughest division in the NFL. speaking of health, the bengals would probably go 10-7 with this schedule if jake browning was playing as the bengals quarterback for this season. no way the bengals will have a 10-7 record with joe burrow in at quarterback with this mediocre schedule. in 2022, they had one of the hardest schedule in the NFL while the offensive line got 0 reps in the offseason and still went 12-4 (would have been 13-4 without the damar hamlin cardiac arrest). at worst, the bengals win 12 games. they will probably win 13 or 14. also, I find it funny how you mentioned how the bengals struggle to start the season and didn't mention how great they are during the middle-late portion of the season. during weeks 5-11 last season, they went 4-2 and they would have beaten the ravens if burrow didn't get injured in that game. the bengals was lowkey looking like the best team in the nfl during that stretch. this team isn't overrated. if anything, they are underrated. and I don't wanna hear the "iT's jUsT My oPIniOn" statement to cover up for your bad take!🙄🤡just know I'm keeping RECEIPTS this year for these foolish remarks! I hope you keep that same energy throughout the season and don't switch up!😂WHO DEY!😈😤

Lamar didn't lose to Mahomes, he lost to Steve Sapgnuolo. What I mean is the Chiefs won the last 2 S-Bs by managing the games through play-calling both sides of the ball, then, after observing the opposing defense all game Andy Reid called plays that led to go-ahead game-winning TDs. The Ravens went into a playoff game against this & "thought" "Let's put All Decision-Making In Lamar's Hands & let _him_ out-smart the Chiefs' coaches all by himself without any input from us." & it worked. All the fans do blame Lamar, & Harbaugh & Co., reputations safe can congratulate themselves for not being blamed while having lost that game. Isn't racism grand? Trevor Lawrence, Mac Jones & Kenny Pickett are all covered for by fans declaring their play-callers suck. But the 2-time MVP whose #s were cut*in half* by _his_ play-caller for 3 years? "A Glorified RB" is what the same fan base says whenever his play-callers fail.

Heh. Last time they played the Pats a late INT was the _only reason that_ the Bengals didn't lose that game. I feel like the Only Fan to notice this: the Bengals don't play 4 quarters, ever. That near-comeback against the Pats was also like the one Tyler Huntley almost led in the playoffs 2 years back. _Only_ a botched play kept it from happening. & here's the thing. This isn't the case when Jake Browning is in. Why _is_ that? Well you're the one making videos. *You* should be telling _us_ about this.

Watson has played injured most of the time last season, he is undoubtably a good QB, but his playstyle doesn't match Stephanski's normal playstyle of in the pocket QBs like Kirk Cousins or Baker Mayfield. Which is why we let go of Alex Van Pelt and got in a new OC Ken Dorsey who will tailor make an offense for him to be able to make the most out of each play. Truly an exciting season ahead

Another dumbass take. The only thing the bengals need to worry about is keeping Joe healthy. They’re a playoff team if he does. It blows my mind how ONE season out of three they finished last in the division WITH a winning record playing a historically tough schedule and now they’re “overrated” and a bad team looking at another last place finish despite a much easier schedule, Joe back and the defense getting the necessary veteran presence it’s needed. I can’t wait for clowns like this to eat their words come season time. 2 of the last 3 seasons they’ve played in the AFC championship, won the division 2x out of the 3 (idgaf if it was when Lamar was hurt you can say the same for the ravens winning the division when Joe was hurt), played in 1 of the last 3 SBs…but yeah they’re an “overrated dog shit last place team” FOH.
@JohnClarkW3 ай бұрын
The 4th place finish means they have an easier schedule. They have a new OC, and the defense was bad last year, and looks older this year. Funny that you talk about the north as toughest, but then talk about the scariest pass rushers in the west. I think the west is better than their records indicate.
@SuperSaiyanSports3 ай бұрын
Mate, there’s a lot more to an NFL team than “pass rushers”. The west has only gotten worse with the loss of Russ and the chargers entering a pseudo-rebuild. It is a very interesting take.

I don't think this is their last chance because most of their core players especially on defense are in their primes, and their track record at replacing departing free agents and coaches is something that most of the league would kill to have. It's not like 2012 was when almost every core player was in their early 30s and near the beginning of the decline or already declining. Although 2025 is when both Lamar and Roquan Smith's contracts kick in, they don't want those two deals to hold the franchise back like the Flacco and Suggs deals did from 2013-17. If history shows us, the Ravens are the definition of late bloomers especially when it comes to developing players and winning championships.
