Inverter AC are pathetic

This whole inverter AC segment is nothing more than Phoebus cartel strategy. I bought 8 units of lg dual inverter series & 2 bluestar on 2013 & 3 voltas on 2023, we had fixed speed AC's around 5 pcs already bought around 2011, those inverter series ac's are big pain on the butt. 90% of the time we will encounter pcb failure, it could be either ipm,IGBT or MCU itself. We were literally buring cash on servicing these units. It doesn't matter which brand hvac with inverting tech is simply a disaster waiting to happen. If you thing your saving energy, the dime you saved will be spent double on fixing the pcb, all things considered if MCU is intact, if not you will have replace the entire pcb which will cost abt 8-10k.we converted all the inverter acs to fixed ac and slapped some sofstarters to reduce inrush current. Dont fall for this inverter tech gimmick. It has high profit margins so distributers will only aim for selling these units & fixed speed ac they wont even talk about it as a thing.Remember tge ones bought on 2011 we haven't even serviced it, it just works just like that.

Inverter AC is waste , PCB boards frequent complaints , company says warranty , what is the use there will be no stock and they ask for weeks together for the spares, do go for it . non inverter is best.

The technology is definitely good, only side effect is the cost of the brain that makes this all possible, the PCB. Why manufacturers are so scared to offer 10 years warranty on pcb instead of 5 years? All that you save on electricity is used up instantly in case pcb goes bad. And little to no warranty is offered on newly replaced pcb. If this is the true reality of inverter ac's then what's the point of them? Only in the case if by some miracle the pcb doesn't get bad throughout the years of run, In that case only you save power, but this would be called (bhagwan bharose). Unless manufacturers reduce the cost of pcb or increase it's warranty duration, buying an inverter ac is not economical.

It all comes down to one's usage. Simple rule:- If you use it for nearly 6 months a year then get an inverter AC given your room is air sealed and not on the top floor if living in an apartment. Else if usage is low i.e. 2-3 months then take noninverter.

This checking meter or long speech for favor in inverter AC is totally super flop because inverter AC is not good for coustmers pocket high maintenance & long waiting time for companies technicians after 1 year warranty expired your expenses start for inverter AC only purchase non inverter AC

well, I think power consumption for both is almost the same because non inverter runs approximately for 60-70% time at maximum power while inverter runs for 100% time at a lower power. Hence if little bit energy saving occurs but it takes at least a decade to balance the immense capital cost of inverter ac in case ac is working only for 3-4 months per year

Don't fall for this marketing deception. I speak from experience because I have this Inverter AC. It doesn't cool faster than a conventional compressor. It is actually much slower because the compressor starts at a slow speed then increases in speed not the other way around. More importantly, its cooling performance is lower than that of a normal AC.
