Hi Ryan. How do you teach beginners to hold their posture in the first lesson, Upright or Piked? Thanks for the video.

Wowza, this shitt is good ! The first dancer she is so cute, like Minnie Mouse ! They are all fantastic !!!! There is a reason our great grandparents danced this way, they were much smarter back then.

Thanks God and the performers for making us able to see this video. Their performance reminds me an offroad truck on desert dunes going fast over bumps when one can see the wheels and springs and dampers are having their time to accommodate the bumps while the main body of the car is flowing like a ship on course. This is so wow!

I’m so glad people are still interested in shag. I used to be heavily involved in my local swing scene and only a few of us even knew what shag was.

Not a fan of Gypsy/Roma music for swing, but I see it really work for c-shag here. Nice solution.

Probably the finest amateur mix and match shag contest I've ever seen. Such improvisation. Such smile. Such DANCE. Bravo to those brave dancers. I think I have an unbiased opinion when I say those 10 souls were just incredible and inspiring to see. :D

The band is Jonathan Doyle Swingtet. The first song is Bats on a Bridge and the second is Strange Machinations, both by Jonathan Doyle. But these are indeed exclusive special versions for this festival. And Strange Machinations is very different. Great, aren’t they? Next time they should record a special CD for the festival. Great merchandising!!

1) Collegiate Shag, St Louis Shag, ,Balboa, of course Lindu Hop, we’re created in US, so there clubs there. In W & E Europe, some videos of Intl competitions were in different countries, so they should have classes & clubs .
