I have a gladiator sport s on 35s, are these trails doable without lockers?

You will have a together time on some of the rock ledges on 2, but if you take your time and have a good spotter you should be good. Going downhill on 26 would be easier than coming up.

Really disappointed they graded it. Wanting to go back now post hurricane but due to the closure of I-40 it’s a 2 hour ride and I have t found the time lol. Also, last time I was at HC, I took the path to the right. Some pretty good ruts up that way and eventually comes out to a paved road.

That last turn on 26 is best done, hitting it straight on, and right up the center. And... dropping pressure down to 10lbs. That pressure makes 22 much easier as well.

These are considered a legal road and all vehicles must be licensed and registered. If the mini bike meets that criteria, I am not aware of any other restrictions.

When one does a lift job on a jeep, I personally think 35 inch tires are the way to go. Because every inch matters. 35’s will work fine on a stock set up and your transmission. If you get bigger tires you will have to re-gear your Jeep.

Great to see another video from you guys. I too love that little place for the same reasons. I shot a short piece on my channel jeepNdirt (no camping overlanding video) there with my wife on our fall trip last year and you're right. Small place but fun little trails. Dan is AWESOME and Earnie is just cool. lol. Another point you made which for newbies I'd pre-warn as well: That incline at your 5:17 minute mark is definitely one that makes any passenger cringe, and coming down on the back side actually showed up to 31 degrees on my gauge. But those views are INCREDIBLE. Not trying to plug too much here, but my drone shots from there really highlight how beautiful that little mountain area is. And if you can catch the colors changing around 2nd or 3rd week in October you'll be rewarded with views of a lifetime. Good stuff. God Bless.

Great points. I completely forgot to put the drone up until our descent, but have done it in previous videos. It is amazing how nice those views are. I hiked up the big hill to get the videos. You should be fine with those factors considered. If you’d like, you probably can find someone to ride with at the store where you get your permit. I definitely urge caution on the lower end of 27 if they haven’t addressed the ruts. They can damage fenders and/or mirrors.
