Can you do a video on creating application ls that work on mobiles and desktops, while using APIs in it? For example, an application where freelancers offer services and people buy them through stripe or PayPal API or something, and the application has texting feature, like two user to chat with each other and so on, what AI tools are needed to create such an app with no coding or full stack development experience?

Very helpful video thanks Alex. Quick question, do you ever use windsurf to edit in additions or do you always use the same AI for code generation/editing? I finally got my first app up online w windsurf btw, just learning from your videos + with AI following your recommendations and it's finally live. Never coded/built an app in my life before seeing your content. Pretty sure this is the closest thing the human race has to magic. Reminds me on the Idiocracy movie somehow: "Look at this, look at this space-ship, wooow!!!" 😀No programming, click-click, happy user, game era 1980, as I was starting my assembly hacking kid. 40 years later I'm still hardcore coding and glad I'm getting old; my fears 20 years ago as the then "modern engineers" started to dismiss UML and OOA/D and memory-freeing destructors got much worse than I've ever imagined. Now we have Python, AI generators, happy kids scripting with web-prompts and playing happily what we had to hack in machine code back then 🙂. The IT joy today is not even remotely comparable with those fascinating years without any internet, sitting whole nights with my C128 and coding in the built-in assembler module; the only thing available was the "Commodore C128 intern" book smuggled from West Germany to our then communists country. The more tools and options and wizards and scripting the IT-kids have today, the more dumb they'll be and the fear the AI will take over is getting realistic, as it will be really smarter compared with the new IT-kids.

That is so unhinged and beyond reality that it makes me cringe. I'm turning 40 this year and I've wanted to develop games my whole life but could never write code. I made dozens of paper and pencil prototypes and dozens more card games. My specialty is mechanics, game balance and psychology. So I understand that rudimentary games are possible with very simple prompts, I can now build card games that have millions of potential starting points, all balanced within a single standard deviation within each other without having to high a programmer. Did I do it by typing in a single sentence? No. I took weeks of promoting using weaker models. But now, with this new model, I can do the complex tasks that prior models could not. It's like how any one could make a game back in the Atari era. But not everyone is going to be a Miyamoto and make Mario. Those are the operators who mastered the art of design and back then had to communicate well with a team of programmers. Well, that team of programmers is now an AI model. And using my skills that I have honed over 3 decades, I will be able to craft the games of my dreams. Some of us will be left behind. I don't plan to be one of them. Discard your short sighted notion of AI making people dumb. Every tool can be mastered and utilized properly. This is just another tool. You set the limitations, not the tool itself.

I improved the original prompt: let's build a space shooting game using python and pygame. make sure you create everything involved including the game assets and rules including a tutorial for new players

Ensure that the tutorial is easily grasped without having to use words or promoting of the player. The mechanics should be explained through gameplay without being overly hand holding as to allow the player to explore an discover how to play in a way that is engaging and highlights the important mechanics through play rather than through dictation. That should improve your prompt even further 😊

There is no need to use React. Cursor can use HTML/5 and javacript to build any game.

That is awesome! I just create 3 scripts for my faceless tiktok sidehustle and except the editing I was able to automate everything. Like I wrote 3 totally functional python scripts - and I don't know how to code :D Everyone needs to try it and imo if you dont use AI in the IT-sector you wont be able to work anymore.

I really enjoy watching your instructional video clips, but sometimes your minimised video frame is directly over where you're entering data and I find it difficult to follow. I appreciate you're probably producing your videos for more advanced users. However, when you review & edit your videos before you upload onto KZbin. Could you look out for those brief moments where your minimised video frame is blocking the content you want us to follow. Thanks very much in advance and I hope I'm being constructive. Jeez none of the tasks are "Gamechanging" but it's alright am using GPT tasks for way more complex stuff, use it to analyze stocks and give it links where it can get information, check your wallet and give suggestions. Just asking what book to read is not a changer it's lazyness
