he was asked about his sexuality SO much. he said he was bisexual and people still asked all the way up until he was now married to Iman he still got asked if men or women kiss better like come on. Time and place. he just joked about that one but i find it odd to even have him dwell on past encounters since he was married now.

This is the world before MTV, when interviewers had no way of talking to musicians because they didn't understand them or any artist really. They annoyed all artists, the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Michael Jackson, and here with Bowie. If Kurt Cobain and Nirvana was around at that time, it would have been a bigger circus, too.

They were rude/ stupid questions and Bowie was measured in his responses. In the clip with Jools Holland, Bowie had just been insulted back stage by Liam Gallagher. He wasn't annoyed with Holland, just the stupidity of the Gallagher he encountered moments before.

he got nothing but PESTERING about it so I don't see the view that he was saying it for beneficial reasons. ALSO he was generally succinct about it just as he was with most aspects of his personal life. If it were for attention you'd think he would shout it from the rooftops and mention it every chance he gets. Instead it was interviewer after interviewer with "are you bisexual?" "Are you REALLY bisexual?" "Are you STILL bisexual?" "How about now? Are you bisexual?" On and on.

You can see why Grace Jones clobbered Russell Harty over the head on live TV back in the day. He asked some of the most ridiculously personal questions with that aloof and arrogant air like he was interrogating a petulant child and about to take away their sweets if they didn’t respond soon enough. David handled Harty with signature style, and intelligence.

I got a guy in the cubicle next to me that I'm REALLY going to have to do something about. Frucker is always taking credit for my ideas and work. I get a date with a gal here in the office and the frucker shows up at the bar and tries to steal her. Frucker kisses our fat freak boss's ass daily and is making 25% more than I do, from what I'm told, even though I been here 7 years longer than the frucker. Frucker talks down to the janitor and others below him and acts like a saint in front of management. Yeah, well, I got a REAL plan for this frucker. By next weekend, this frucker won't agonize me any further.
