Mentioning his mother during the interview was not appropriate. Stating how she rarely sees him, his response is, "That's my business" shut him right down, somebody's mother is off limits for discussion!

He got this attitude from the rude interviews and paparazzi slowly picking at his personal life and stupid questions

This is the world before MTV, when interviewers had no way of talking to musicians because they didn't understand them or any artist really. They annoyed all artists, the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Michael Jackson, and here with Bowie. If Kurt Cobain and Nirvana was around at that time, it would have been a bigger circus, too.
@morningstar9233
@morningstar9233 7 ай бұрын
They were rude/ stupid questions and Bowie was measured in his responses. In the clip with Jools Holland, Bowie had just been insulted back stage by Liam Gallagher. He wasn't annoyed with Holland, just the stupidity of the Gallagher he encountered moments before.

David Bowie isn't like a gay person.He's like a FAME whore.That's what he is: A FAME whore and those sort of people have been caught lying and saying their gay or bisexual because doing so gets them media attention.

@@Sharperthanu1 Can I have an autograph please? I'd love to have one! You seem to have been close or up close with all of these legends, so you're my new hero now!! :D What's next on Bowie's agenda? :D Wait... isn't he like... dead? R.I.P. Ah, come off it!! He came out as a bisexual person back in the 70's I believe and now here you are, saying it's part of some kinda "agenda". Are you having a laugh, matey? The reason why he reacted the way he did is because of the fact he's tired of answering the same old boring questions over and over again and at the end of the day... whether he likes prunes, bananas or both is his own personal business!! ;) Or... "was", I'd say, but I was referring to the footage in which he's still a young man.

You can see why Grace Jones clobbered Russell Harty over the head on live TV back in the day. He asked some of the most ridiculously personal questions with that aloof and arrogant air like he was interrogating a petulant child and about to take away their sweets if they didn’t respond soon enough. David handled Harty with signature style, and intelligence.

the bit at 1:42 where Russell is talking about David’s mother and that she’s been a bit tearful from time to time and suffering a certain amount of anguish and her not hearing from him a lot Well I would have said what David said like “that’s none of your business Russell I didn’t ask you to interfere with my personal life.”

I got a guy in the cubicle next to me that I'm REALLY going to have to do something about. Frucker is always taking credit for my ideas and work. I get a date with a gal here in the office and the frucker shows up at the bar and tries to steal her. Frucker kisses our fat freak boss's ass daily and is making 25% more than I do, from what I'm told, even though I been here 7 years longer than the frucker. Frucker talks down to the janitor and others below him and acts like a saint in front of management. Yeah, well, I got a REAL plan for this frucker. By next weekend, this frucker won't agonize me any further.
