It is good rainy season there. Cleaner air and greenery. Driving through the mountain road is a lot of fun, tribal life style, gardens, streams. Tracking Golden Triangle, into Laotian border pass are another. Cis-Mekhong river is a piece of Laotian territory. Stepping there adds up another foreign land travel.

Where did you do the eye test and get your license from

When you go to the Dept of Land Transport to test for getting a license they will test your eyes while taking the driving test (which is in the office and not in a car). Two of the tests I remember were: 1) telling them what color comes up (green, orange or red) when each flashed in front of me, and 2) pressing on a pedal when two objects become the same distance away from you (which I found to be the hardest with my astigmatism). Luckily I passed...and I'm sure you will too.
