this is a good mod and i've done it to several celerons only problem i've had is the intel integraded 4th gen HD graphics keeps dropping out and video play back studders i've tried 3 different intel hd drivers i think it's just a dud i was setting up to use it with a led projector. it's on 128gb ssd so its not storage think it's just a bad unit.

My Asus CN60 was installed with Libreelec, Seabios version 1.7.5-120, I can't get into the boot menu or boot from USB on the original 16GB ssd, I have purchased a new larger sata ssd but still have the same issue, window 10 noe unbuntu would boot, I have tried different keybaords and diferent USB sticks, any help would be greratly appreciated.

The truth is that it worked 100% for me. Only I had problems because the bootable USB never recognized me. And try from the Shell by entering the FS1 command: But the USB never recognized me, what I did was format it on another PC with M2 input with Windows and then I transferred it to the mini CPU and I was done.

After removing the 4 rubber foot pads on the bottom of the case, carefully remove the bottom of the case, you may have to use a flat object like a plastic knife so as not to scar the plastic case, the bottom is a very tight fit, be careful and don't force it. Once the bottom is removed you must remove a write protect screw that keeps the Chrome OS on the firmware. If you hold the unit so as the memory is to the left and the wifi is on the right it is the screw right above the wifi card. After removing this screw plug a mouse, keyboard, monitor and the power cord into the unit. Place a straightened Paper Clip in Hole above the Kensington lock port, hold the paperclip in until you feel a little button inside the unit depress. Continue to hold the paperclip in depressing the button while you push the power button on. Hold the paperclip down until you see a picture on the screen. Once you see a picture on the Monitor Release Paper Clip. Press Ctl+D on the Keyboard. Once again Insert the Paper Clip and hold and release. Do Not Press SpaceBar as instructed on the screen. Wait for two Beeps and computer restart. When computer restarts it is "Transitioning into Developer Mode". Press Ctl+Alt+H. When a question appears press NO on Screen. When Screen Reappears Choose your Local Network to connect to the internet. This is REQUIRED to download files for reprogramming. Once connected Press Ctl+Alt+F2. Now you will get a terminal screen. Type CHRONOS. At next command line Type CURL -L -O (This is a letter not a number) HTTPS://MRCHROMEBOX.TECH/SETUP-KODI.SH && SUDO BASH SETUP-KODI.SH and (ENTER). After the UEFI firmware says getting device/system information, the screen will change. On the next screen choose option 6 (ENTER) Press Y (ENTER). Press Y again (ENTER). If you want to back up your existing Chrome Bios you can opt to do it by pressing Y, if you do not want to Press N (ENTER). If you are backing up the Chrome BIOS you will need a USB flash drive to save it to. I don't know why anyone would want to backup Chrome BIOS because Chrome is not supported anymore. If you select N (ENTER) just wait For Flashing of BIOS and then Press ENTER to return to the main menu. Now enter P to power off the computer. Now everything is reprogrammed. There is no OS on the system and now you can upgrade your storage M.2 SSD drive located under the WiFi card. You should upgrade to at least a 64gb M.2 SSD card. You can also upgrade the memory to 4 or 8gb. use two memory chips, one in each bank for dual channel, the memory must be DDR3(L) low power 1.35volt, DDR3 1.5volt will not allow the system to turn on. Replace the bottom cover and feet. Turn the unit on and at the RABBIT LOGO press ESC to enter the boot menu. Choose your boot USB from the menu and (ENTER). It is recommended to install Windows 10 Home edition, unless you have a large (128gb and above) M.2 SSD installed. CONGRATULATIONS, you're finished!

A friend gave me an Asus Chromebox CN60, the process to install another operating system has already been done, but currently he has a Gallium OS installed. I just bought a 256gb SSD and I want to update it to WIN 10 Pro. Here is my query, if it has already been updated to Gallium, only by booting with the WIN 10 pendrive I could install it or before I have to corroborate in some way that I have the firmware installed Windows compatible UEFI BIOS? How can I see if my Chromebox is already UEFI, ready for the correct WIN installation? Thanks!
