I have a tascam model 12 with a Sennheiser SE v7 calibrated in Dubler, however when I try to pass the audio through the plugin it will only allow one application to control my AISO for the Tascam. How do I patch the audio through Ableton to Dubler to get my midi output? I haven't been able to get it to work outside standalone mode.

I have Dubler2 on Ableton 11 with my Tascam Model 12. I'm able to configure Dubler2 as a standalone but I'm having difficulty getting it to pass the audio from Tascam to Dubler once I'm putting it in Ableton. I must be configuring something wrong but it makes sense that only one program can use the AISO at a time.

Hi! This may be because the audio output from Dubler 2 is overlapping with the audio output from Studio One. To prevent this, first close Studio One and open the Audio Device Settings in the top right of Dubler 2. Set your Audio Output to None. You can also turn off the Inbuilt Audio in the bottom right of the Dubler 2 Window. Now reopen and Studio One and follow the steps in the video and it should work!

Hi! The string sounds here are from Sample Modelling: www.samplemodeling.com/ Dubler 2 doesn't come with its own recordable sounds

Nothing new I learned this at Lynn university, is just a more updated version of what we used back in the day but in college everything is pro not amateur like this, this is just basic and simple to learn the only difference is now u can get it and take it home it don’t stay in the studio or school or even ur job u will have it now for fun at ur fancy house Juggalos so have fun with family and friends. I dont have an Audio Interface. But If I get a Dubler USB Mic will it prevent me from doing all this and work as intended ?

Definitely! The Dubler USB microphone has its own internal ASIO driver which will allow you to use Dubler 2 seamlessly without an external audio interface

ive watched all the setup videos and all the asio4all setup videos as well as all steps in this video, but when i click asio4all in fl studio, i get no sound out of my sound system, i'm using HDMI out of the graphics card for my sound system

Just trying to start using Dubler 2 in FL Studio, I use FL Studio Asio (in FL Studio 24), and I use buffersize 256 (don't have an Audio Interface), hope this gets you on the way

Would this help me program MIDI drum fills and rolls in Pro Tools? Is it easy to map them to say Abbey Road Drummer? Presently I record a drum full using mouth sounds and then have to try to match this into midi notes by a combination of eye and placement on grid.

Hi! That process is exactly what Dubler 2's Triggers feature is perfect for - the software allows you to train specific sounds to trigger specific MIDI notes. For example, let's say you want to trigger a kick drum by making a "Buh" sound; In Dubler you'd train the "Buh" sound to trigger the specific note your kick drum is in the drum kit you have on your MIDI channel in Pro Tools. And it's instantly responsive so you won't get any latency! MJ actually did do something like this. He did not know how to write music. He had a voice recorder and would record his beats into and have the sound engineers turn it into music.

hey, if you select the track and turn on inspector (type i), you'll see Track: (instrument name), there's a little arrow you can click and it will drop down more options, MIDI IN being one of them-in mine it's called midi input not in port.
