He goes in deep about how the 5 stages of grief frame the game. You should check it out. He's not active anymore, unfortunately, but he has a brilliant mind for this series, if you can get past his quirks. Be warned though, it's a 30 hour playthrough of SH2, and Fungo is VERY high energy, and won't be for everyone.

I have fond memories of the entire series. Fantastic games all-around at the time. However, the problem to most people is that the "remaster" was not what most people wanted. Yes, they sharpened things up a bit and increased resolution, all for the sake of "keeping the original look and feel of the game." Most people, including myself, thought is was just another "lazy" remaster for a cash grab from a big publisher. Now you can make the argument that "remaster" doesn't mean remaking the game like they did for Resident Evil 2, 3, and 4, but since we know what they can really do, this remaster felt, "blah", and being $20 for a game that is 20 years old, no thanks. If the game was $5 and looked like it did, it would sell much better. They really needed to give it the Resident Evil 2, 3, 4 treatment and if not that, at least make the leap graphically like they did for the orginal Resident Evil to the Gamecube remaster of Resident Evil. Damn, that remaster of Resident Evil still looks good today because of the static backgrounds with fixed viewpoints. Onimusha Warlords and Onimusha Samurai's Destiny both had that similar game style. Should have been easy for a company like Capcom. Capcom wants to blame the fans for not buying, but I want to blame Capcom for doing a half-assed remaster. I still have my PS2 and can play all three Onimusha games on my nice old 27 inch flat screen tube TV without having to pay $20 (or less if on sale) just so I can play it on my gorgeous 65 inch OLED TV. Capcom, if your not going to remake the game, don't bother with remasters unless it is only $5. This is just my opinion.

Technically that type of rock inside a vulcano, thanks to the heat, the rocks is a bit less than 11tons, I'm guessing 6-7 that is still impressive for Chris, but the thing is that the boulder is even round, so you need to create just a bit of Inertia in the movement and then use that. Still a lot to create even that bit of inertia, but Chris was desperate in that situation, he didn't want to lose Sheva and not let Wesker win. Up: Chris started to punch the boulder because he was realizing quickly that just pushing wasn't enough and was trying everything he could.

The boots are probably the easiest to explain. If they are well made, secure enough not to slip off but loose enough to be comfortable then theyre as good a choice as any. Theres a reason armies around the world wore jack boots for centuries, theyre simple, easy and they work.

If you think about it where in the Resident Evil games (at least 0 to Code Veronica) does it say a bite is how the T-virus spreads. I Don't think we ever are fully told how it is spread & so it may only be spread by certain things. One guess I have is maybe the bile like acid the zombies sometimes spit can spread the virus & bites often don't spread it. The bite may just allow the zombie to spread the disease. As in the games your character is only ever bitten for a short time before the character pushes it off. Another way may be the Green Herbs you use to heal your wounds which may actually hold the right properties to help prevent the slow infection of the T-virus. I don't think even the doctor in 3 tells you if the virus is spread by bites. Maybe the wounds cause the regenerative effects of the T-virus to activate & since most if not all people in Racoon city have drunk the water they likely have some T-virus in them & the damage just speeds up the activation before it can be flushed from the system which is why people like... Nobody I can think of was in racoon city that escaped that we can assume had exposure to the T-virus by water. Jill had a vaccine knocking her out of this & we can assume any UBSC troops like Carlos had taken you know water from canteens & such & likely avoided the infected water same with HUNK. What else Clare & Leon where only in the city for a few hours & likely didn't drink infected water. We may also assume the strains spread differently. the epsilon one seen in 1 likely isn't spread via bite & instead is spread through other means as the staff where exposed to it deliberately to clear up loose ends before Wesker came in. We can maybe assume that Forest wasn't killed by the crows & instead somehow was exposed to the virus same with Edward. We don't see any other cases in RE1 or 0 where we are seeing people turn like this. RE2 has a different strain which may be spread by bite however & Jill does get infected in RE3 & maybe was exposed in small doses by the zombies which would've taken longer to take hold. We know very little of how the virus actually spread as no notes really tell us & enough dead bodies kinda points to the fact that the zombies don't spread much. Only 2 people in RE2 turns & that's Marvin who is well swarmed with zombies the night before & may have been attacked by Nemesis & Brad who was infected by Nemesis. RE3 implies that nameless soldier who has a name in the remake but I don't know it was killed by Nicolai to ensure he didn't turn but he might just be lying to have an excuse for him well killing everyone else. Also If I am remembering correctly there is a note or something somewhere that says the hunters where created by William Birkin to act as a way of dealing with the 10 or maybe 1% of the population whom was immune to the t-virus. Edit: I knew I'd have something more to say but ugh. anyway Carlos may not be immune but he wears a military style armour so assuming its pretty bite resistant (also in the original he mainly faces hunters & worms) he may just never get injured enough to have them get at his flesh to infect him.

I see it as similar to bites in real life. If someone has the aids virus and bites you. There's a chance of you getting infected as well but it's not a sure thing. I see it as most of the monsters don't inflect serious injury to actually get infected you would need a deep bite. However I always assumed characters don't turn unless they die. So as long as your alive you won't turn.

The OG Tombraider was awesome, even when it took really long to enjoy it. To the Jumps it is like this "Make them perform jumps, they are nervous to do, but know they 100% can do". The Combat is kind of the same, because of the controlls you fel helpless, even when you arent.

For real after playing Tomb Raider I with a few tweaks, endless View Distance, Widescreen... I must say, this looks boring. It misses all the charm and mystery the old Game had. This just another PS2 Action Adventure like we have hundreds of today.

It's an Anime moment. Over the entire game Chris has this "muh partner" mentality and actively prevents Sheva from sacrificing herself to take out Wesker. And when she's in a desperate situation at the climax of the game, he manages to momentarily manifest god-like strength to save his partner. It's a dumb moment, but it feels _right_

As per RE7 gameplay, Ethan was infected with the Mold ingame so id suspect the Mold had something to do with Ethan's regenerative capability in the game except his mutations are not as severe as others, or in better wordings, he just got lucky.

You're missing an element of the English dub "issue" that makes it a non-issue. And actually, well, at least, in my opinion, a bonus. It's a video a game. 😂 You can zone out but not be lost as to what's happening while playing cause you can't speak Japanese.

I LOVE IT!!! Am now my question is why all characters have superhuman abilities? Leon velocity+agility (laser rooms), Chris superStreng+endurance (rock scene), Jill superAgility (vs nemesis), Claire velocity+streng (cv) ...even the characters are colder and insentive to terrifying situations, maybe they infected? Or inmunes? Or did the virus mutate in them?

Wesker uses the virus to become more powerful, Chris is already powerful.

Is it possible the boulder was at just the right angle when it was almost rolling by itself and Chris just provided that little push? Yeah, it's heavy as fuck but it's not like he's lifting it.

I actually played and beat this game and am currently playing it on midnight. Regardless of what people may think, the gameplay is actually fun especially when playing with friends.

This qte in expert difficulty is one of the hardest things I´ve ever achived in any game. It took me many, many, MANY tries, I thought my controller was gonna break. I felt as powerfull as Chris when I finnaly made it.

Don't forget the people who did that stuff with hysterical strength lifted up to 3.000 kg with no training or being ripped, which Chris was, so I would think that it might work, not only he had to save his last partner but also prevent Wesker from totally destroying the world (let alone Wesker was his captain who got almost all of his team killed in the mansion)

in the story they dont get bitten neither heal with herbs they suppose do a perfect playthrow. this could make sense considering they are elite agents except for claire that is a civillian

Look, the characters may be imune to the T-virus, but saliva, blood and underneath fingernails is where tons of infectious germs and diseases live. Also, A zombie has immense strength because all brakes on the muscles are gone. So let's say Leon gets bitten in the neck, this would result in death by bloodloss if not infection by one disease or another. Nobody would survive a zombie apocalypse, or you´d have to wear a Hazmat suit that will be sterilised before being removed.

I got this game and played it immediately after playing Cultic another Boomer shooter inspired by horror games. But it leans much more into the shooter aspects and isn’t a immersive sim game like this. However the gunplay differences are night and day the headshot damage in cultic and the reticle is very accurate but I’m Hyper violent I can’t tell even if I’m in range with something half the time and just end up soaking up hitscan damage.
