How hot is your soldering tool? I have a difficult time cutting the sheet. Maybe it's not hot enough? I have it set to 375f. Do i need a glass surface instead of a metal surface?

Hi , sorry for your loss *Question - when designing an image for Combi / Fore edge Foto Book ....how close or what's the distance away from the side edges for the image to be from the page edge ? Must the image be close so that you start folding soon, or leave empty space ? I hope you understand my question, as i don't know how else to explain

I've done combi patterns where I use up all the pages. For the top, you should leave at least about 1/2". The smaller the tab, the harder to fold; might have to glue down to stay put.

I usually add .1 to the second one unless there’s a 9.7 already, then I subtract .1 from the first

What temperature did you have the heat press on? and how long did you apply the heat?

I used the Cricut mini iron on the highest temp and probably 20 seconds of continuous movement. Test to see if it releases. If not heat a bit more

Be sure to print at best quality. Are you using genuine HP ink? Is the paper HP brand? I've been told by tech people that using the same brand paper and printer/ink yields better quality.

Thank you. Patterns made with fotobookart.com have numbers at the top and bottom. I can't answer questions for patterns made elsewhere. You can rotate the image 90 degrees prior to uploading to fotobookart.com for horizontal patterns.

Creative Fabrica is an image site so on there you would look for an image you want to create a pattern for. Once you find the image you like you download it and then it would be in your download folders that you have upload the image into fotobookart.com.

Hi, I have a question regarding printing. When you were explaining the parameters to make sure we have set correctly to print I noticed that you have the paper size selected as US Letter size? Not being in the US I would be printing on A4 size selected on my printer. Is this going to make a difference? Also with the book height is it the hard cover book measurement or the page inside it measurement? thanks

Height is height of pages, not cover. For paper size, A4 is 8.27 in x 11.67 in (210 mm x 297 mm) so quite the same as US letter size which is 8.5 in x 11 in. Do you have the option to choose the 8.5x11?

In the video, I mistakenly said 365 pages instead of leaves. So the book has to be at least 730 pages to allow one leaf (page 1 and 2) for day 1. My apologies and hope I didn't confuse anyone! Thank you! Wish I could add the info to the video.
