Why would it 🤣 there’s about a 2 inch contact between the part and the jack and about a 4 inch air gap. You could probably pick it up my hand after it’ll be lukewarm

I love building those US vertical hollow shaft motors. Very solid castings. I prefer to use a manual chain hoist for better control. Looks like you smacked those windings.
