Aww friend, I'm sorry you're feeling sick. I hope you are right as rain ASAP. Your soup sounds so delish. I also love that Knorr bouillon. It's my favorite because it reminds me the little noodle soup my mom used to make me when I was a kid. I think my favorite soup at the moment is potato, but to be honest, I could eat a different soup every day of the year and be super happy!

Whoa! What a great haul!! Our Savers/Value Village just opened here (we used to have one a few years ago) and it is seriously the most expensive thrift store ever ($100 for a used pair of boots, wtf?) I don't understand the pricing here at all. You got some GREAT deals and I love that so much. I really want a cloche, too. I have a nice glass footed cake stand that I thrifted about 20 years ago, but nothing to go over it.

You can see how much Todd loves you and the life you have together. Oh my gosh it just warms my heart so much. Ben seems like a great trainer! The gym looks so cool. Wow that ragu looks GOOD! I'm not the biggest fan of pasta (much to my Italian husband's chagrin)....but I do like a few different shapes....the weirder the better. There are these really tight corkscrew ones at Trader Joe's called fusilli corti bucati and then some mini lasagna looking noodles at TJ's called mafalda corta.

I am glad to hear you talk to your dog. 😊 I have two and I talk to them all the time. I love any kind of pasta and that sauce sounds delicious.

One of my favorite Christmas memories is the year we were really struggling financially and to make it special for our kids, I created the 25 Days of Kristamas where we did a homemade/inexpensive/free holiday/winter activity every day up till Christmas. I made up the calendar online & printed it out with things like Bake Gingerbread Reindeer Cookies, Watch a Christmas movie from the library, Craft salt dough ornaments, Make Peanut Butter Birdseed Ornaments for the critters outside, etc. It was so much fun that first year that we ended up doing it for a few more years after that.

One of my favorite memories is when my now 47 year old had his first Christmas and he was so good. No tears or fussing, just a great picture.

I love cocktail sauce! I make mine with sugar free ketchup and a blop of prepared horseradish. I love being able to control the spiciness of it that way. This method seems like a great way to make shrimp!
