Thanks for the video - AA is great! Question: right now I use Lightroom synced to SmugMug to set up quick private rooms in SmugMug for clients to see photos in a private room. I would prefer to use Artwork Archive but the process is much slower since I have to manually add an entry for each photo first (for photos that aren’t already in the archive). It would be great if there was a quick and easy way to set up a private room for new photos for clients. Some of those photos won’t necessarily be good enough to make it into my permanent archive, so again it would be great to easily add/remove photos to a private room in AA without having to add individual entries for each photo one by one. If I’m missing something and there’s a faster way I’d love to hear about it. Thanks - I’m a big fan of the software otherwise.

Do I need to have a business license, state tax certificate to use this software? I have been selling through the galleries license.

I want to start a community art studio that employs and pays artists to teach classes. I want to have a studio with instruction, media and equipment available to community members. I want it to be a hub for artists to hone their skills without having to invest in the needed tools. I want the studio to be a place for artists to display and sell their work, a place for public school students to have a free exhibit and reception. I want to be able to make an income myself, allowing me time and opportunity to grow as an artist as well. I just ran across this art business accelerator grant webinar (3 years late). Do you still provide grants?

This sound like exactly what I need. I am just getting started in the art business and I want all the tools that I can find to help me jump start this process. This is a second career for me. I have just one question now. If at some point I find that I want to cancel this service (I cannot see why I would like to do this) but if I did, what happens to my archive? Do I lose it?

This is the most versatile and comprehensive program I've ever used for anything. It is now my portfolio and sales site, and I use for accounting too. I cannot impress enough upon artists to at least give it a try.

I've followed Charly Palmer since he was a graphic designer spanning back to the 90's.

I've used this platform for two years now and learn something new every time I watch a webinar. I never thought about pointing my domain to this URL - was not sure I could - so that is VERY good to know....I know having my own site is important for many reasons , but web hosting can be costly and I prefer A.A. all around since the functions are the same when I embed. For my articular art biz this will be more than sufficient. Thank you!

Hi - Ive embedded my artwork archive works into my website - however it doesnt show the options on the left hand side - specifically the ARTISTs category isn't shown when its embedded. This is a problem for searching artists work . Can you do this

In addition to going with you through the features, I really, really enjoyed the discussion toward the end on the processes of transferring our outdated data to the AA platform. We...I felt so very inept when we started. I'm old school and not so tech savvy, and I am better now seeing you you some of the same challenges. Big KUDOS for Justin and the AA Team! :) They have been so helpful and always ready and available to assist us. Justin is patient and does not at all make me feel as I sometimes want to...out of the tech scoop! Choosing Artwork Archive is the best part of the process...and I looked long and hard when making the choice. Elysian, I was able to understand your other long video much better after going through some of the other shorter ones. :) Thanks.

is it possible to purchase any artworks from the private rooms? I guess that's the intent...it should be really easy for the customers to purchase...can you please advise? also is there any option, perhaps in the future, to have a one-full-page scroll down for the private room that looks more curated, with the possibility to add text (explanation, making)? thanks Gaia

Thank You for posting! I assume that then negates any promotion FASO does when new work is added etc.? And probably other features FASO offers with your gallery like notifying followers of new work . Do you find it to be worth the trade off?
