how is the beach

@@tonyd8825 Not as good as other beaches in the Cancun area. It’s next to a ferry dock and lots of locals come to hang out right in front of the resort. We never hung out at the beach because of that but they do have an area for loungers and cabanas. But if beach is a deal breaker I’d recommend something else.

We might upgrade this next time. So far we haven’t done the upgrade at this resort. Going in December so we are considering it. You may have talked us into it. 😊

We love this resort. There’s always something to do at night and closes out with the on resort night club “After Dark” 🎉 sometimes we don’t make it to the club lol 😅

We loved how they had something going on late night. Most resorts close down before midnight which can be a turn off for some guests.

My husband and I are wanting to go in March. First time at an adults only resort! This one seemed to be in our price range. I was wondering if it would be ok if we didn’t get diamond club and you answered my questions. Thank you!

Fun Hotel. Great group trip for sure. Didn't love how hot the main pool was 24/7. Main elevators SUCK, they take way to long. Food was ok. We have been to a few hotels in Cancun, this one was not my favorite

@@randomadviceguy1780 For the best party vibe I’d recommend Breathless Cancun Soul. For a real chill relaxing upscale gorgeous resort I’d recommend Haven Riviera Cancun. And for something in the middle of those two I’d recommend Hyatt Zilara Cancun. I have videos for all of those so check them out. Hope that helps! Royalton chic or breathless soul? They’re about the same price. Chic seems like a bigger party, better location, better beach. But breathless is more all inclusive with less add ons. Would love some insight thank you 🙏🏼

@@ez4039 Thanks for watching! Hands-down, Breathless Cancun Soul! We were just there in March and it is much better than Royalton CHIC on so many levels. Breathless is actually more of a party compared to Royalton. Royalton definitely has a better beach, but food, service, amenities, and so much more were a letdown at Royalton. I will be doing an honest review of Royalton CHIC very soon as well as a comparison between Breathless Cancun Soul and Royalton CHIC Cancun. @@ez4039 We’ve been to a couple Breathless resorts and we’ve gone with and without Xhale and didn’t experience much of a difference. You can still access the rooftop pool at Soul in the evening for the activities and just a relaxing time with a cocktail and the beautiful city view at night. The Xhale lounge at every resort has been underwhelming for us but some people like the extra perks. I’d say book regular and upgrade when you check in if you’re interested because it will probably be a better rate. 😉

@@hrhf7ns7821 We stayed at Haven Riviera Cancun and took a 2 hr cab ride down to the jungle gym and spent that day in Tulum then they drove us back.

@@chrisw341 Smart casual would work. Pants are sometimes required for certain restaurants but not all. I always suggest resort-style vacation clothes.

Yes you can swim it’s just not as magical as some beaches. If you walk to the right around the ferries you get some better beach area. The beach in front of the hotel typically has lots of locals with their families there.

I would have to say Breathless has a better party vibe! The daily themes at Xelerate pool with live DJs, music performances, dancers, and more really give you the party vibe every single day! Hyatt Zilara Cancun does have parties at the pool but not to the extent and it’s only a couple times throughout the week.

One of the best resorts for a party! It also has another great rooftop pool and bar to have a relaxed day or a romantic night. This resort really pulls out all the stops every evening!

I was just there 2 weeks ago for 6 days This is my 10th trip to Cancún Pros The resort is pristine, brand new, only been open for over a year or so Rooms are nice, showers, room air AC etc. Hot tub in the junior suite, nice balcony Oceanview 3 pools for use for the common people There is also an additional elite club pool that is nothing special One of the pools is a swim up party pool The other pool is a fun activities volleyball etc. music pool one is a quiet pool It is all inclusive 5 restaurants all next to each other so no need to walk around far distances between restaurants Food options were decent nothing stellar but not bad There is an Italian, Mexican, Asian fusion, steakhouse, and obviously a general buffet which in my opinion was the best food overall There is 1 cappuccino and coffee bar with sweets that is decent 24-hour food room service I did not try Awesome outdoor theater for shows and performances and live music Great location in the middle of the hotel zone strip Walking distance to both luxury malls Close proximity to downtown party scene club central Beach is nice so was the water per usual Service and hospitality was solid Cons It is actually a small resort, for some makes getting around easier but it is quite limited in activities and entertainment especially in the evening It lacks a game room or sports bar The night entertainment and shows are lackluster Had to leave the resort each night They herd you like cattle and take you to the other Riu resort for their beach and foam pool parties For the price point it is not a bad option but there are definitely better resorts that you can explore
