I do love attending service at Chester Cathedral I recommend all experience it at some point, not just service but the Cathedral itself in its entirety… God bless you wherever you are and may He provide you comfort and His peace.

We think the Duke of Westminster VII's vows are worth paying for, the treatment in New York on talking to the deep fryer, going out to the screens...it gets the police, the new Chief of Police in the Tisch family, well-connected who know everyone in Hollywood. I remember crawling under our Christmas tree when I was a child. I would lie under the decorated branches looking up and I still remember how beautiful it smelled and looked. It was like being in my own little Christmas tree world. I remember my sweet dog joining me too. Good memories.

I trust it was an awful mistake by KZbin that this typically beautiful act of worship was twice interrupted sacrilegiously by noisy adverts for, among other things, Black Friday, sanitary protection products, and treatments for constipation.

I am delighted to have found Chester Cathedral evensong streaming. Although I can't attend in person or at the live stream, I play the recordings and they sustain me through my working day. Choral evensong at its best has a quiet, profound beauty, which is always present in these streamings. The choir (both boys and girls) Always sing with great sensitivity and precision, making a beautiful sound. The canticles today are a perfect example of this- and well done to the excellent soloist who sang so beautifully in the anthem. Thank you to clergy and choir, and all the cathedral staff for bringing this worship to those of us who can't attend.
