I approached it the way I did Chinese, which is trying to learn very intensely for a time. If I am being perfectly honest, my level was not terribly high when I auditioned! When I got in, I was given an ensemble rating of 2/8. However, I did well on the interview part. I now coach students to do this audition and most of them pass it with my instruction! Improvisation requires knowing the fretboard, (chords and scales), also awareness of rhythm and some ear training. From there you build improvisational vocabulary (licks and riffs). And perhaps you just haven't found the style that really inspires you yet! But these are all things you can accomplish with time and effort.

​@@geleilaoshi Thank you very much 格雷老师 ❤❤❤I know it's prettey much similar to learning a language, but it's challenging to apply music as frequently as I'd like, unlike practicing language! for the first couple of years, I was just following tabs on KZbin, which did improve my technique a lot. However, I was completely clueless about music theory. Later, I realized this and started looking for chord and scale exercises, but I just practiced them. It felt kind of tedious, and I didn't know how to apply what I was learning. I'm 28 now and can only practice for a maximum of 2 hours a day. My favourite genre has always been rock & metal. Now i am just trying to learn songs completely by ear which helps a lot. I just started doing it recently.Also i want yo know that You have motivated me a lot, I am passionate about both music and concern for my homeland. I feel heartbroken about things happening in my home country, feel powerless to make changes as an individual.

川普當了四年美國總統，其閒美國經濟繁榮，全世界沒有發生大事，川普對美國，對世界造成什麽傷害？！2021年川普下去，拜登上台以後，這世界就像點燃一個火藥桶。就說最早的美國從阿富汗撤軍，拜登都沒有做好。弄得像逃難一樣。真是丟人。然後2022年爆發俄烏戰爭，2023年爆發以哈戰爭。發動戰爭的人不受你的指責，反而指責川普 human decency？！你的常識何在？

我也不说川普在任期间的别的破事。就一个新冠他就处理不好。撤军是川普提出的，拜登只是执行人，又不是他的意愿何必要执行特别好。麻烦再多做些调查和思考。

@@royzed2039 川普在任四年有沒有做破事，先不辯解，但可以看見的是，那時候世界上的流氓混蛋都很老實。新冠的事。你還敢提？會有針對武漢病毒起源的追溯。什麽 “美國兵參加武漢軍運會” 這種笑話在國際上那麽多受害國是沒人相信的。阿富汗撤軍弄成逃難，是因爲拜登把美軍先撤了！留下一堆辦公室人員，文職人員，親美的阿富汗人在後面。哪有這樣的撤軍？！現在美國人民重新選川普，是對拜登這四年糟糕的執政的修正。

@@geleilaoshi 你要學中文建議你去台灣學包括語音和語調，那裏保留有最爲純正的中文-----閩南語。現在所説的中文的一個英譯叫做Madrian (這就是指的國語），當然直譯Madrian似乎是滿語的意思，這當然不是。所謂Madrian是指的北方話，純正意義上的中文是南方話，如果你以後有機會接觸詩詞你就會知道詩詞裏的平仄（語調）只能用南方話讀的出來。現代的中文有很多是從日本來的而且語法也很西化。
