SL needs twelve furlongs to be at his best the winning post takes too long for him to get home in front already over thrown by Dornoch and Fierceness two rivals he will encounter in the Travers is asking SL far too much to do in the Travers even then there is a new filly in town which is a tower of speed and power in Thorpedo Anna as she just waits to explode come Travers day truly an exciting and spectacular race to watch end of story

Thanks, Barry, for following my videos. I'll have to see what my schedule looks like. I occasionally have done videos that are not on the Derby trail when there are horses I like entered in the race.

MF Had The Momentum and Was in Front of Dornoch Until MF Dramatically Reacted to Irads Dramatic Use of The Whip and Swerved Out...Irad Should Have Strongly Hand Ridden MF to Wire and He Would Have Won The Belmont...I Thought MF Deserved to be 4-5 Odds in The Belmont

I picked Dornoch in the Kentucky Derby and played him in the Belmont. Love Mage & Dornoch. The Dam /Puca is the winner

Hello Mr.Carter , it has been Pretty windy , here in the “Windy City”, enough to Cause a Construction, mishap that was responsible for death . That wind is going Slow that Rain effect out East . As usually great Job ! Torpedo Anna, just devastated the Field in the “ Acorn” . Double ????

Hi Calvin, I believe you have the Preakness stakes handicap pretty well here. I wish the Just Steel owners would’ve skipped this race and saved him for the Belmont, I didn’t look hard enough at Mystik Dan’s breeding … a 4-m family cross on the bottom dam and on the stallion’s dam. - that’s potent. I found a few nice btoofmares and can report my findings if you’re interested. I personally visited the farms here in Toronto where they are boarding

Calvin, you couldn’t have been more correct in your assessment. Really well done calling Sierra Leone and Forever Young as triple crown candidates … both ran lights out and just missed by a nose. Let me know if I can be of any assistance identifying broodmares for your organization that match well with your chosen stallions

Pace makes the race of course. If the tracks sloppy who knows , it might be a mine that bird type coming up the rail for the win . fierceness bad race ,good race , his pattern . Sierra Leone Should lay off the lead and will be coming down the stretch of its fast I like him. I believe endlessly will be a live longshot horse today. And stronghold I like. Forever Young , catching freedom , just a touch have a shot . And I always put a few bucks on the gray west Saratoga .in a fast track I project.

this is no easy picking, it all depends on the pace setters, DORNOCH, FIERCENESS, ENCINO, TRACK PHANTOM, I think fiercess will take the lead, followed by Dornoch, saez is a master jockey he would keep fierceness honest and will make his move when he think his horse is ready and the race is on, I feel it would be a good exhausting battle and sierra leon and endlessly will come hard, thats all I am going to tell you folks

It just depends on what your budget is. If I have enough money, I like to play all the exotics. But if the funds are tight, I like to focus on the Superfecta as it has the best payoff.

Hi Calvin, just Steel seems to have a very potent cross from family 4-M in Voodoo Lily and Change Water the bottom dam. Line was successful producing stallion Up To The Mark. I am expecting Just Steel in place or show

I talk about Just Steel in the video. His last 2 works at Churchill were not as sharp as they were at Keeneland before the Blue Grass, so that was of some concern.

I respectfully differ, the one mile workout in 1:40.0 was Super … means he cut fractions of 12.5sec per furlong. That’s a smart workout and most appropriate for a race bred to run-all-day. The 2nd work out was a taper workout to maintain fitness and conserve to build energy. I think this Just Steel is special and the breeding will show on Sunday. Studying breeding lines is my passion

If Forever Young lives up to his breeding, he can win the Derby and, perhaps, the Triple Crown. Stronghold could potentially be an exotics player. But don't see him in the exacta.

In addition to my Classic Champion Thoroughbred Profile®, I use Brisnet past performances to handicap the race and the Prime Power is their main ranking tool. My profile often beats the Prime Power.
