I decided to pursue Montessori Education/AMI training in 2018, which is offered through the University of Hartford. It has impacted my life in a meaningful way, to say the least. I really enjoyed the highlights presented in your podcast and although it was created a few years ago, found it helpful.

Yes, I understand. I remember I had a lot of eye-opening experiences during my training too. Funny how impacting it can be in our own lives as well. Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for reaching out!

Are you certified as Ami or Ams? I’m trying to figure out which is best. Thank you 😊

Hello! I am AMS certified I did both infant-toddler and primary at Summit Questa in David FL. To decide out of the two comes down to how traditional you want to go. AMI training is international accreditation that originates from Maria Montessori. AMS is mostly in the US and stems from AMI only there’s differences in presentation of lessons and other small things. Either way they are great options. Good luck to you! ☺️ Thanks for watching!

@@ms-rhina thank you so much for the information 😃 I only recently discovered Ams and was in process applying to Ami training in Tampa Fl. But now I’m looking into my options. Thank you again

I love your perspective from being an actual Montessori trained teacher...Do you plan to do more videos? My son is 3 and we want to get him into a public Montessori but the space is limited, what would you suggest we do at home? Thanks!

Hello! Thank you for your comment. My apologies it has taken a while to reply. To be honest I was active or consistent on KZbin as you can tell :) Now I am though and I thought I would let you know that I am adding more related content if it may still be of use for you. Thanks for reaching out!

@@ms-rhina The wait list was so long that he didn't get in, but he is learning to code, not sure how Dr. Montessori would feel about that, but it is an important field. I am sure your videos will help many parents who are having to help at home more....wishing you much success!!!
