The status quo understand how powerful Tv shows and movies were.They understood how the media affect the American culture.It creates sublime innate bias or the opposite so the top owners were careful what to expose to Americans.Think about all the stereotypes you believe and how they were programed into your mind.

I love how seriously this show and its stars took themselves. This could have been a cheap, campy, and underdeveloped show, but they appreciated the content enough to aim it at adults.

I never knew why Cliff Booth addressed Bruce Lee as Kato in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Now I do.

I was very young when the Green honet played so I was more of a batman fan was more colorful but i I like kato and his karate but my neighbors like Green honet because it seemed more serious

Good show. Bruce Lee was good in the show, along with the other actors. Bruce was excellent in the martial arts.

Let's not forget the 40's serial of the Green Hornet which the original Black Beauty was a gangster type car while Bruce Lee played Kato.

How can you compare Batman show back then to the Greenhornet. Even in 1966 I knew Robin couldn't beaten Bruce lee of course I didn't know whom he was back then. But I said wow that dude was really cool with his kicks!!!! That's what hooked me!!!! Robin was not standing a snow ball in hell!!!! 😅

Up until this moment, I hadn't realized that The Green Hornet was produced by the same company that produced Batman; same kind of graphics, same kind of vibe, same announcer, but a lot less campy than Batman. I guess as an eight-year-old at the time that I just didn't make the connection. I had also forgotten that the series lasted only one season; too bad. I really liked The Green Hornet.
