"Don't tell me, show me." I'm not sure who said that, the interwebs variously ascribe it to Anton Checkhov or Eric Schmidt. It seems to be the guiding philosophy of the first few minutes of the video, with beautiful scenery and relaxing music. Looking forward to visiting it again.

This is a great profile of what looks to be a terrific park. I think is the best video profile so far in the series. Listening to the music followed by the sound of the falls is a peaceful experience. I'm going to post this to my Facebook feed. Other people will benefit from seeing the series. Thanks Skip. Keep up the great work.

Great work. Just like I remember the place. I went there a few times in the 1970s and 1980s as a boy . Not sure if I could handle the stairs now.

Thank you!! It's cool that the video evoked good childhood memories-those are gold in themselves. And yeah, the stairs required a bit of vigor for me, but there is a lot of trail accessable from the parking lot that is flat and still gets to some beautiful looks, including the Copper Falls overlook. You can do it!

Thank you for tuning in and acknowledging that the series is focussed regionally. There are a lot of good KZbin channels that focus on the national parks. These are impressive and beautiful, but far away and, as such, not accessible on a regular basis. I love that I can do a day hike in one of our beautiful state parks for little more than the cost of gas to get there and back. I want to share that with as many people as possible.

There have been some episodes where I was not digging the music, and I think I know what the difference is: Percussion. Most of the music in this episode did not have percussion (the exception that I noticed started at the 2:00 mark), and that just seemed to fit. I am especially enjoying the ongoing bits of music- and dialogue-free footage of water flowing, wind blowing, and all the other sounds you get in places like this. Well done. More please!

The campground is beautiful as well. We stayed there at the very end of August, just before the Labor Day rush. You get the best of many worlds all wrapped up in one. Woodlands, marshland and the Lake Michigan shoreline. We're already planning our next trip back. You can hear the waves on the lake from the campground at night when all is quiet.

My third favorite state park in Wisconsin and the one I've visited the most often. I've been to all 50 of the state parks (recreation areas and other things make your total 64) and Rib Mountain is pretty isolated from the rest of the parks in the system with the exception of Council Grounds. The only two that beat out Rib Mountain for me are Wyalusing and Devils Lake.
