Edit: Another trick depending on the time of year was to run the tower lane because the tree sap would help act as a glue.

Jimmy Dale your attitude is incredible after getting severely burnt!!! I burned my hand really bad once, it was excruciatingly painful. I was smoking the devils lettuce in my bathroom, tryna hide the smell thru the vent, and caught the trash can on fire cuz it had toilet paper in it. Slapped it out with my hand, worst part was slowly pulling off melted plastic in between my fingers but never went to the hospital. No pain meds either. Shew man it sucked. It didn’t stop me from doing what I enjoyed, which was guitar hero lol. Too bad that song wasn’t in that game, I sure as hell needed to remind myself…if you’re gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough.

Few months ago I was tig welding and the cooler was hooked up wrong so coolant line boiled unfortunately I had the lead slung over my shoulder and the coolant line popped blasting antifreeze and steam onto my chest and armpit through a hoodie and 2 shirts. The pop was so violent and loud my welding helmet got knocked off I thought something blown up. I didn't even realize what had happened for a few seconds but my shirt was wet and I felt the pain quickly setting in. Like a dummy I headed home and suffered it out, I was in relentless nonstop pain for hours n hours. In last 6 years I fell at a mill and had an open forearm fracture and I ran a finger halfway through a pipe roller bending pipe and squished my finger then ground my entire thumbnail off on a belt sander a week later because I couldn't wear gloves on that hand and I would take the pain from those over this burn any day so I understand the pain a bad burn can cause but your burn covered so much area that's something I would never hope to experience, coolant is no joke that guy had the same thing happen at cleatus's burnout contest being completely showered in superheated coolant, he was in rough shape too. Only pain I think is on a similar level as my burn was when my gallbladder took a dump the nonstop please kill me type of pain I had from that left me with a bit PTSD. But that burn of yours was completely brutal looking.
