This company is a complete joke. No roast date and the beans thrown in a plastic bag loosely closed with a plastic bread bag tie. No reputable coffee company who cares about their product with package their merchandise like this. I have ended up with two bags of this stuff and both got returned to the store due to absolutely no freshness and foul and harsh bitter taste. If you want bad coffee, just buy folgers, at least it's semi drinkable part of the time.

This is not coffee. No roast date whatsoever and the coffee beans thrown in a plastic bag loosely closed with a plastic bread bag tie. If you want cheap garbage coffee that's at least drinkable, you're better off with Folgers.

@@upforadrink it actually was the high voltage coffee this morning. It's much smoother than the normal ground coffee I normally get. I made it hot, let it cool to room temperature and then added a little milk, sugar free sweetener and ice. I liked it a lot.

I just got this exact coffee today from aldi and was looking online trying to find the caffeine content. Im excited to try it. I really like strong dark roast for iced coffee

@@UberAV that is a different brand. I looked it up. I believe it's called bones coffee. I had about 6 ounces of this coffee today and feel fine.

@@gothafloxacin I searched for "Barissimo high voltage coffee" and Google provided a "people also ask": "How much caffeine is in Barissimo high voltage coffee?" to which Google provided the answer "Our coffee has been tested by the DEPARTMENT OF INDUSTRY, INNOVATION AND SCIENCE | NATIONAL MEASURE INSTITUTE AUSTRALIA, and contains 1150mg of caffeine per cup (please note this amount can slightly vary depending on your brewing methods) this makes our coffee the strongest coffee currently in Australia." Upon further research high voltage coffee is a widely used phrase and so perhaps the Australian company, High Voltage Coffee Company, is not the origin of Aldi's version despite what Google states. I just bought 4 12oz bags. Be nice to know the voltage.

Love this iced coffee. I get the regular cold brew. It's nice, bold and cheaper than the starbucks store version.

“Smooth, no bitterness” 🤣. This stuff is toxic sludge. It’s the worst cold brew available by a large margin. Awful. “If large brands don’t make good cold brew nobody would buy it.” With America’s caffeine addiction will fuel the sales. This is truly awful.

You heat it up for sure. Hot cold brew is my favorite since it gives me the best of both worlds.

I just tried their regular dark roast as an espresso and for the price I gotta say it's pretty darn good if not leaning towards great. Very impressed.

I realize this video is 2 years old, but I just tried this cold brew. Ive tried several bottled cold brews and I never like them. They always have a weird flavor to them that I dont get ina fresh cold brew. I can only assume that its a preservative, but this is the first bottled cold brew that I really dont taste that preservative flavor. Now I can save $30 a week by not going to Starbucks.

I find that off flavor mostly in the "shelf stable" cold brews. Another "off" flavor in cold brew, for me, is African beans. They taste good hot brewed, but the lightness of the flavor comes across a bit sour to me too. Have you tried Stok cold brew? I like those ones too. Cheers.

I don't add anything to my coffee. I don't have a sweet tooth, so I'm lucky there. The only time I feel the need to add anything is when the coffee isn't as good as I hoped. But you're add-in sounds tasty. Cheers.
