So Fake. I believe like at that time hindu priests can't marry. The idea is to keep the mind free from distraction caused by sex-life. so the priests decided to fake a story so they can achieve their satisfaction. so by making a fake story and scaring the King to make a temple near the sea. and the king also promoted that story to all the people and send a girl to the temple. there actually isn't a rannamaari and the priests are the one's who is doing these thing to the girl who is sent to the temple and kills her so the real story behind the story may not spread.

Yes, it was the fraud priests or babas who rареd those unlucky young women. But the commoners only knew that Rannamari ate them. The real Rannamari were those prіеsts (or possibly rаріsts).
