You Brit track athletes were like a lot of other teams who had athletes in camps away from the boats. Netherlands were at their camp, some U.S. runners hung back... I have seen it more with 400m athletes. Athletes who hung back from the boats conserved a lot of energy with not having to stand out in the rain for hours waving and cheering. It makes me wonder if any performances are impeded, especially for anyone in new dress shoes. I know the boats and lights were a cool experience, but so is competing and winning and being in Paris and everything leading up to it.

That’s very true.Although i think if given the opportunity to go, a few including myself would have gone just as i still would of had almost 14 days to recover before racing but as the 400m starts this weekend it’s understandable why others that did have the opportunity turned it down. But ultimately Performance over everything. Getting medals and running our best will always be the key motivation and priority 🙌🏿

@desireehenry9241 Your group is strong this year at the 100 relays. I wasn't sure why you weren't in the group that broke the record at Diamond League (earlier in season), but you were part of the group that won the Euro Championship, aaaaand London in 41.55 (for some reason I musta forgot how fast that was, whoa). That means you all are deeeeeep! The relay is pure chaos, like nuts. You lot have really good technical skill with the baton, I love the screaming and communication. The British 4x400 women's and mixed group isn't bad either. They're not as elite as you 100m women, but they're running solid times, look to be peaking. You are in the Olympics, again, and I hope you keep making the most of it and run your best. Britain has a good amount of track athletes I am excited to see run. My all-time favorite sprinter, despite my being from Arizona, is Lindford Christie. Absolute unit. I wish you the best. Keep being awesome, keep posting content. Love seeing you race!! Also, seriously, that London relay was way faster than I remembered, I didn't realize it was that fast... that means this Olympics... I am not gonna jinx it. Just race hard. I want it to be either us or you all, preferably a tie, but either way works.
