I have a thomson linear actuator on my plow with a wireless remote control. it doesn't lift the plow it only sounds like a machine gun when I try to lift the plow... is this a known issue? if i disconnect the actuator and try to work it, it just spins it doesn't expand. any advice on what's happening or how i can fix it?

How do you stop the regen power from going back into the system? System is on the CNO option on the XD but is supplying power back in to the system. Not a viable option to do this

What exactly does the brake overide do? If the unit is using regenerative current in the braking system and this is cut off.does the manual overide of the brake release the holding spring in the brake? Is it a electro magnetic falesafe braking system on the XD range and the re gen power controling the slipping?

so i need a t8x8 this alway confused me when i had to deal with it, i usually just try them in the nut til i find the one that fits but this time i didnt have one i could use so i had to take it out of a working machine to find what i needed an now i have to buy the replacement. i think i actually understand it now tho, thanks for sharing this. what i have is t8x4 2 starts an i need t8x8 4 start.

I used to build ball screws, my one piece of advice is make sure when you discassemble you put the unit in a container to capture all the balls, and count how many came out of the ball nut. When you are ready to re assemble measure all balls with a micrometer just to check all balls have the same size. Hope this helps.
