I keep encountering be grateful in all things/ circumstances.... 😢 how when the circumstance is that your husband was accidentally, tragically killed (crushed to death by a 70 ft tree at the hands of another.) I have things to be grateful for but how in all things, all circumstances?

Great question Kim. First, let me express my sympathy for your situation. I can’t imagine what it’s like. Going through that. I’m sorry for your loss. Gratitude is not glossing over the hurtful things in life. Instead, it is finding things to be thankful for even when life throws you a curve. In fact, gratitude is part of the power to get you through. Even while acknowledging your loss, you might be grateful for the friends and family whorallied around you. You might be grateful for a moment that God revealed himself in your sorrow. You might be grateful for the fact that there is life after death. The scripture says to be grateful in all things, not necessarily for all things. Not everything is good, but good can be found in everything. I hope that helps

This is so true. Even as I was listening to this, I was talking myself out of why I am not the right person. So good Pastor Greg so thankful for these things.
