It was a little hard to understand the accent at times, why didnyou use a foreigner instead of someone whose first language is English? I hate that this is a school assignment video for college and a foreigner is the narrator? Maybe the video's intention is not to teach Americans? I'm confused.

Excellent vdo lecture maam on HR bt as a professional in my opinion HRD functions on intellectual capital generation activities nd at the same time ensure a good return on ROI on training nd other interventions than merely facilitating in house training activities.HR Trainers or manager's or top level executives need to equipthemslves with the capacity nd competencies needed to build in HR function as a hand on, proactive strategic parter with practical contributions to Organizational goals nd performance effectiveness as they are the backbone of any Sector or organization or Industries or business etc.right from ground level employees to middle management nd sr.level too by imparting various Training Methodologies which is a part of T&D nd very important for skill development. It is a continuous process. Also HR practioners need to strengthen their partnership nd credibility with their stake holders by involving them in policy making nd communicating constantly as its a competitive World whether Domestic or global so in my opinion as a professional they do impact the economy of the country in terms of Productivity.A strong chain bonding is a must as they are correlated.Monitoring HR implementation nd conducting human process research r the two poorely performed function across the most organization so this aspect needs rectification in order to achieve maximum output in terms of Productivity in brief in my views. It is a vry.vast field nd important to in the present scenario and for the future too.OD nd self renewable activities r also among the least effectively performed activities so it also need more attention for success of OD nd Updated with new technologies is a must as everything is on tips nd it saves the time too which can be utilised for other perspective of the Organization or any Sector.Vry.inspiring lecture nd outstanding too.Thanx nd sincerely appreciated the lecture maam 👍

The least salary increment i got was 3%. I was graded by my old boss. The boss I hated The highest salary increase I got was 10% On both times I worked my butt off and did my best. Sometimes it's the boss that hinders your growth. Not you. Luckily my old boss resigned as she also got into arguments with other higher ups. Good riddance

I’m in sales, 20 year vet in corporate. From the non HR side, HR protects the bosses interests above yours, they won’t keep confidentiality, the don’t know employment law and like any role, the quality of your HR is variable. Old hands know you never speak to HR because you will become the focus. Even if HR is on your side, they will do what the boss says or get fired themselves. Not saying HR people are bad people, not at all, but they aren’t there for justice, like the rest of us, they are there to do what they are told. Don’t go into HR if you want to help people, you’ll become very unhappy the first time you’re told to get rid of someone who has a legitimate compliant.

I pretty much said this to HR but in a nastier manner and now HR goes out of their way to avoid me. My HR is for a gambling establishment so they come off as disingenuous and miserable.

Changing the name back to "Personnel" would be a step in the right direction. "Human Resources" is a prevarication.

Hi I saw your video about your interview experience at Tik Tok and wanted ask if you had some time discuss more in depth about the interview process? I have recently applied for a job as a sales Operations Team Administrator at Tiktok, and been called up for an interview and was wondering if you could give some points in regards to their recruitment interview process for the role I applied for so that i can ace it. Thank you.

A a regular employee I find this video very valuable. By the way, for me the cultural fit thing gives some room to discrimination and can result in overlooking non-typical talents.

I prefer to have my resume without a picture. I am a man and a software engineer. So, I think the hiring person can judge me for being overdressed or for not wearing a suit in my photo. When someone is more interested in me, there is my LinkedIn profile link so they can see me after reviewing my resume. I have a photo taken by a professional photographer in a suit but without a tie on my LinkedIn profile picture.
