Old trucks in good condition are hard to find these days. A lot of them were purposely destroyed in 0bama's "Cash 4 Clunkers" program. People gladly accepted pennies on the dollar to turn them in.

Honestly Why does anyone build structure that will rot overtime from exposure to sun and water You wouldnt build a roof like this Build a deck without filtering rot thru to down below Its a big waste In ten years it s not gonna be as nice as new Maybe then you can flip over those composite boards for a fresh look Or better yet build it like a flat roof so it might last longer and your stuff can be protected below Just because someone came by with treated arsonic boards and built a deck with it doesnt mean you had to follow suit Do a deck without it rotting overtime Gueesh!

I found it rather poignant when you were showing us where else that fire could have started or when you were pointing out to us the plastic gas can top ripping off because I never would have thought of that. That really hit home for me thank you for sharing this story hopefully it can help one of us not have the same mistake and thank God you're okay man couple days to rest it off I mean you couldn't get much luckier.

Dude youre lucky. Im sure one of the things now youll always have is: a fire extinguisher, a steel bucket with lid for those rags. Jason over at bourbon moth did a video on rags going up spontaneously. In his video he said a friend had a fire that i think took his shop, along with his own. It was his fire that showed him as to why he needed to step up his fire protection game. Ps cottage looks amazing, best to enjoy it right now at its fullest while recovering

Yeah people hear can be a little backwards and stubborn as hell but they got your back if you earned it. Lol.
