Was this end of June or in July? Didn't look as crowded as usual, and not as many Salmon. I love snagging in Seward! Been doing it since 1990, back when you could snag Kings!

Out of the 3 jonathon walks up into the mountains to fish remote lakes , rivers lakes and ice fishing , CJ does ocean fishing lakes rivers and ocean but talking with him wants to get even more into ice fishing. Chia he is good at dip netting. Ice fishing rivers and ocean.

Sand lake have huge arctic chars also. But I luved the Xmas vid when the state trooper came in on you ,,,,, lol thanks to that moment that’s when I investigated the rainbow trout limits in anchorage 2 at 20 inches and over limit 1 a day but only 2 for the entire season.

A lot of people do like snagging and jonathon you loved it in Valdez lol,lol,lol. Especially when your pole snapped. lol,lol. Remember that. You can’t pick or choose if in Seward they don’t attack lures. But in Valdez they do but can still snag. But if I had my choice rather them hit the lure cause meet doesn’t get ripped ,,,,,

Great info! Smoked salmon is a good way to prepare some of your fish much tastier then just regular salmon fillets that you vacuum seal and freeze
