These players sound freaking great. Of course. I've often wondered why smiling isn't encouraged? Sounds like they're having fun but they also look like a piano will get dropped on them for looking like they're having fun. I get the conformity of it all but c'mon! Anyone have thoughts on this?

Im always so impressed with the mallets players. Just crazy how they can know the music so well that it’s just muscle memory and they don’t even need to look down to see where they’re playing.

It’s called stick control but I’m not sure where you’d be able to find it

Pulse Percussion has a website and if you go there and go to clinics you can download the sheet music and stick control should be there.

Double doesn’t have to be “straight then 45 straight then 45” if you angle it correctly you can get the whole thing the same angle
