Whenever I really want time to fly by while on an 8 hour stint at work, I immediately pull up the V/H/S movies. :)

I have a lot of movies that I go back to: Friday, Nightmare, and Halloween entire franchises; Child’s Play 1-2, Texas Chainsaw 1974, Night of the Living Dead 1968, Evil Dead original trilogy, Witchboard.

Great video champ, viewing from little england, just subbed. On saturday i preordered the art attack box the one without the sunglasses, vhs ect, this set looks absolutely bostin, i think i may be in love 😍😂 and here in england the price comes to around £75ish, which is a lot of wonga quids but a fair price for what we get i mean.... A single bare bone blurays would be around £45 for 3 films in england alone , bare bones with no slips and this is £30 more but this also gets the 4k discs for each, slips for each, a hard box, a book for us to have some reading material, posters, artcards, im not a fan of art cards but its a bonus, and the artwork is better, so all those extra for £30 more, very nice, the set im getting is around £75 but if england released this exact set with everything in it, im confident the proce they would be asking for would be roughly £160 quid which would be $206 american dollars and would be roughly $ 314 australian dollars, which is ridiculously overpriced. We never had an official Blu-ray release of the first terrifier, apart from the duo Blu-ray which is now oop, its a basic release those pretty much bare bones, but at least its uncut, but i love the character of art and terrifier flicks. Ive not yet seen the 3rd one but im REALLY looking forward to it, and having this set arrive in my physical catalogue of media 😁🩸 and binge them all and check out the commentaries ect. Bostin. I only have 3 unbrellas so far , i have the drive in delirium complete collection and deathwish 2&3 and deathwish 4&5 but i have pre-ordered 9 other unbrellas, ive never seen an unbrella boxset in person but there releases look beautifully bostin. I have a phobia of clowns but im fine with art cause its not a traditional looking clown, i love horror, i dont get scared if horror at all i just LOVE IT. The terrifier set is going to be so beautiful the set im getting in guessing its will be .... The size of say .... The psycho arrow 4k set. Great video again champ.

I does matter, but isn’t as important to me, as it used to be. I almost exclusively buy 4Ks now. A release having Dolby Vision and Atmos is now the biggest factor, for me now. If it’s a half ass release, I have to really love the movie before shelling out the prices, most these companies are charging nowdays.

For certain franchises, I consider myself a collector. When they make new packaging versions of the Universal Monsters, for example, I always buy them to collect them. I own a blu-ray copy of the original Friday the 13th that I purchased from Walmart years ago. I call it the official false advertisement edition, because it has a slipcover with Jason on the cover! 😂 I love that kind of stuff.

I’m a generation X’er so a kid of the eighties and was into metal so I liked this movie a lot. The covers on the v.h.s in the video stores would always influence me to rent it back then.

I got the Mausoleum slipcover from the VS media club with that gold stamp thing on it last December 2023 I didn’t have that one either so was happy to get that one finally. Thought I got it recently but was 12/23 they offered it in the media club.

Ohhhhh yeahhhhh 🎃 so excited my 3 set arrives on Monday (had to get all 3 it’s one of my favorite films) Had a crappy German Blu-ray for awhile. Such a fun movie. Back of B is cool. Like how they did different artwork on all 3 front and back. A+ release! Love the soundtrack was included and reversible artwork also awesome. Nice booklet looks like too. For me one of the best releases of the year. For me it got better on rewatches over the years.

Murder Party was a lot of fun. The Tenant I watched this morning on Paramount + it was really good but probably a one time watch once you see the ending at least for me. I am one film away from finishing the Hell House umbrella box set. Nice pickups!
