Hello, You problem is more a bearing problem on the suspension arms. The arm where the whell attach is rotating a a set of bearings, and when they are worn out,the top of the wheel goes inwards,towards the body. When you look at the car from the rear,you should see the wheel tilted. It's a common problem on Peugeot /citroen vehicles and it's not the bushings linking the rear end to the body,but the bearings in the rear end themselves. You can replace the bearings,or get the rear end replaced entirely. Look at youtube,there are plenty of videos on rear end bearings on PSA vehicles,so you can see the problem.

Bonjour, Si c'est seulement à l'accélération,il peut y avoir plusieurs causes: Trop de gasoil est injecté,car les injecteurs sont sales,ou s'il y a un débitmètre,il peut être sale. Il peut s'agir aussi tout simplement d'une fuite d'air après le turbo,le turbo va comprimer de l'air,mais il va fuir avant de rentre dans le cylindre. Dans ce cas on entend généralement un "pschiiit" quand on accélère. Ou alors d'un filtre à air très encrassé,le moteur a du mal à aspirer de l'air et ne peut donc pas alimenter le turbo en quantité suffisante et ça fume,par manque d'air. Une fumé noire est signe de mauvaise combustion : il y a trop de gasoil,il est mal brulé ou il n'y a pas assez d'air,donc d'oxygène, pour lui permettre de bruler correctement. Est-ce qu'il y a un voyant moteur ?

Bonjour, j'avais remarqué quand j'avais essayé le véhicule qu'il il avait le voyant moteur d'allumé mais j'avais pas tilté. puis quand le propriétaire à passé le véhicule au ct. au moment de le récupérer j'ai remarqué avec du retard qu'il avait disparu... le véhicule a du mal à avancer. est ce qu'avec une valise diagnostique de type icarsoft on peut trouver le problème? @@ivanjovanovic7072 Bonjour, Une "valise" donnera un code défaut associé à une valeur,et un ou des capteurs ou actuateurs. ça ne veut pas dire que ce sera lui le coupable,mais ça guidera énormément pour trouver le problème. La personne a effacé le défaut pour pouvoir passer le contrôle,ce qui n'est pas sympa du tout...c'est pas honnête. C'est une bonne idée en tout cas,et je peux aider si besoin.

Yes,gear oil,and i don't know how much you are supposed to use,it's not in my documents about the machine. I filled up the housing,and let some space for the air to expand if it's getting warm. Since it's a rotative mechanism,even if you use a reasonnable amount relative to its volume,all will be lubricated as it rotating.

@@thierryclabau6415 Ok, Il faut être bien sur que la pâte de polissage est bien remuée,et que l'abrasif n'est pas resté au fond pendant le stockage. Je ne vois pas d'autre raisons qui feraient que cela ne fonctionne pas. Je n'ai rien fait de spécial pour mon pare brise et ça a bien poli. J'ai même essayé au polish bas de gamme pour carosserie qu'on peut trouver dans les centres auto,et ça fonctionne aussi.

Merci. Je ne l'ai pas encore testée complètement,il y en a deux,une pour le tableau de bord,qui ne fait que donner des infos visuelles,et l'autre qui informe le calculateur. Il faut que je la teste au bornes du calculateur,et pas seulement à ses propres bornes. Il peut y avoir une résistance indésirable qui va modifier ce que devrait voir le calculateur.

I don't think since it's always with a cold engine problem,warm it's starting ok.

@@michaelovitch Our 406 was quite difficult to start from cold the older it got. I wonder if you've got a fuelling issue.

@@jaggass I think too,it's a cold start problem,not when the engine or weather is warm. Could be the valves wich do not close completly,i have to check their adjustment. Could be the cranckshaft position sensor wich is giving a weak signal,insuficient at low rpm,because it's dirty with metallic dust from the cluctch giving up,or because it's just old. I don't know yet.

Salut, Il suffit de chercher des pompes à eau pour volvo 740 TIC ,et on a des offres,on cherche ensuite une image de pompe avec des trous ronds,et pas oblongs comme sur l'autre version. On tombe alors sur une référence chez une marque,et on regarde le numéro OEM (original equipment manufacturer) qui est souvent fourni en dessous pour bien s'assurer de la compatibilité, et on tombe sur ce numéro ,en autre,qui est "VOLVO 271768". On cherche "VOLVO 271768" sur google,et on trouve. Il y a tout plein de kits qui apparaissent en images,et il faut ensuite BIEN s'assurer que c'est une courroie de 122 dents,et de 26.5 de large. Il y a des kits avec la grosse vis de poulie de vilebrequin,ce qui est très bien. Il faut ensuite faire son choix parmi les marques et offres,et son budget.

En gros l’essieux le tube rond vous l’avez axer au milieu du châssis ou vous avez axer le l’axe des roues au châssis ?

@@nicolasvitre4390 Je crois comprendre. Le tube est au centre du châssis,mais les roues sont derrière,car elles sont au bout des bras de suspension. les roues sont donc excentrées,oui. Il vaut mieux toujours excentrer les roues un peu ,ça évite à la remorque de se mettre à entrer en résonance et à chasser à droite et à gauche. Il faut une longueur de flèche adéquate aussi. Si j'avais eu un essieu rigide (comme un pont) sans bras de suspension,il aurait fallu reculer le pont un peu et ne pas le mettre au milieu du châssis.

According to an engine oil temperature chart,i'm spot on for the local usual weather. Thin oils used todays are more to reduce engine load than for protecting the engine. Manufacturers tend to reduce engine work for emission purpose,so they can obtain less fuel consumption during testing since the negine has less thick fluid to pump. The wear is mostly during start ups,when you have no oil circulating. so whatever the oil is thin or thick the engine is running without oil for few seconds. I agree that,the thicker it will be,the more time it will take to get it pumped through the engine,particularly in winter. The manual says that you can use from 5w40 to 15w40 weight oil on this car. Next time i will use a 5w40,it's the most common type sold here,but not the cheapest haha. I bought cheap oil not knowing what i was to find out on this engine.

It's a 20T but i never used it full pressure on a bearing. I bought this one because it's tall and you can slide the shaft on both sides in case you have a weird hub shape to press a bearing in.

I would buy anything wich is cheap and common,even if it has flaws,specially known flaws that you work with or fix. Generally,simple rough mechanic has more potential or resrve for you to hav fun with. So ,yes i would.

@@michaelovitch I never used to like OHV engines because of how loud many of them sounded but i do now because you're video is proof that they can run fairly quiet and have several advantages over SOHC/DOHC engines. For me the best ever OHV engines was the old Fiat OHV and Renault Cleon Fonte engine. Bulletproof engines

Yes, for 1250 € I have a peugeot 206 wich i bought 200€ to replace it.

That's more being picky and justifying their jobs and prices than it's safety related. The rear end bushings attaching the rear end to the car were completly blown up,and they never saw anything until i change them. They can see rust where others don't,or tolerate or not "defects" depending wher you go. It's mostly bullshit to oblige you to come back or not depending on their overal economic situation,local or national. We have motorcycles inspection now,and it's even more subjective inspection,they have nothing to test the bikes,they don't even have driver licences where they test those.

It was mainly in the South of France,where winters are not that rainy and cold,so roads have no salt.

Il y a un abrasif fourni, c'est de l'Oxyde de cérium. On peut aussi polir avec un nettoyant pour le cuivre.

For now,it's holding up with my big ass,but the foam under did suffer too much,it's deformed,and it hurts the back when you seat crooked. I have bought used seats and will make the best mix of foams and upholstery with the 4 seats. Passengers seats are generally way less used,so i have a good combo coming.
