Can't fault your decision. If he had locked them down, you would have been OK. And you would have picked up three spots! You can't account for all the variables in the split second that you have to act.

How did you break your finger? And why did you not go straight like the other guys? Spinning cars tend to have magnets drawing them back on the racing line after spinning out..

Finger was broken by steering wheel spoke when wheel was yanked out of my hands by impact. As for coming back across the line - I counted on other driver doing both feet in in which case he stays at the left edge of the track - 99 times out of 100, going inside is better.
