I have one just like yours, yellow in my backyard. I got it a few weeks ago, still have some work to do like brake disk change, but winter is deal time to work on a bike in the garage. :) How are you satisfied with the suspension? I have read many opposite experiences. I was thinking about maybe changing the springs on the front and rear shock with the progressive from Hyperpro.
@motoninuКүн бұрын
When winter comes and I can’t ride it, I work on my motorcycle and cleaning it and preparing it for the next season, I personally think it’s the best time, not when the season starts… I didn’t have in mind to speak about the suspension 🤔 because it’s s not bad on the road…but if u ride a lot off-road maybe u should consider upgrading, and of course if u plan to keep the bike for many years, so far no complaints from the suspension because like I said for a 25 year old motorcycle the next year, is not bad! I’m sure upgrading the suspension will make it better for sure! I would be interested how it feels with upgraded suspension 🤔 but will see next year if this bike will stay with me or I change it, rly don’t know now! But if u want stay tuned and I would be interested if you make that upgrade how it feels…Thanks for watching!
@juliusmotocikliКүн бұрын
@motoninuI dont plan to do heavy offroading, just ocasional white roads here and there. I will probably write to Hyperpro askin about option to only exchange stock springs with progressive, and leave stock shocks. Unfortunately stock shocks are not servicable, so if they fail, only option is to upgrade, and that is quite expensive. Btw, keep doing great with your channel, and wish you nice rides.

Do you still have the bike? How has it been?
@motoninu18 күн бұрын
Hi! No, I don’t have the bike anymore… And yeah I can tell u some things about the G310R… First it was a nice motorcycle ofc with pro and cons Pros:- good mileage, fun to ride especially in the twisty road and good comuter…etc Cons:-bad brakes(didn’t like them), cheap parts, etc Ok now, I wasn’t a beginner and I bought that bike and to be honest I was happy with it, when u get used to it, it’s ok…but what teach u a small bike is to understand some situations like overtaking,calculating the distance and this is good for beginners and experienced riders as well, and if they could give 40hp to that engine it would be a lot more fun…but it is what it is…don’t know what u want to know exactly…but if u consider buying one u will be happy, but if u ask if I would buy it again I would say “maybe” I say like this not bcs it’s bad I say like this bcs I like to test and ride more motorcycles

@@motoninu ...I have owned 2 R1150 GS bikes and 2 R1100RT bikes. The R1150GS have been trouble free...my first was a yellow one like yours that was one owner with 50,000 miles. i owned it for 2 years and 5,00 miles with no issues. Sold it and missed it a lot! Just go t a Blue and White one in excellent condition with 40,000 on it. Did a full fluid change and installed a can chain tensioner left side. This was an easy replacement and I do it to all my BMW oilhead bikes. Also I replace the original brake hoses and flush brake fluid. No proglems with ABS on any of bikes. My R1150GS bikes have the early ABS so no whizzy brakes....a feature that I can live with out!
@motoninuАй бұрын
@willpierson5138 Thanks again for sharing ur experience I rly appreciate, the tensioner I changed to but on the both sides when I bought it…one thing is the ABS that has a strange behavior that I think is because of low voltage battery(did a test on the battery and has low voltage) when I turn the key on ABS light normally but when I start the bike the ABS starts to light intermittently, so I stop and start again the bike sometimes works sometimes I ride a little bit before I start it again but I believe it’s the battery, do u know something? Or I need to change the brakes hoses? What u think? And thanks again for sharing ur experience
@willpierson5138Ай бұрын
The issue you re experiencing is a very common problem…..do a test. Start the bike and drive about 3 miles. Shut down and restart…..then drive….if the lights go out your problem is the battery not having enough voltage when starter load is on it to actuate the ABS correctly. Solution….either new battery….most likely will fix…or check charging voltage and put battery on charger when not riding.
@motoninuАй бұрын
@@willpierson5138 I just ordered few days ago a charger to put as u say the battery on charger when I don't ride, and yeah, I ride only on weekends so maybe it has sense...thanks again for beeing kind sharing your experience and advice...Thank You!
