you can also use: Holographic Laser Transparent Stickers, A4 Vinyl Self-adhesive Waterproof Adhesive Transparent Protective Film to create a holographic effect that's what I do

As someone who is a father and used to spend a lot of money into Yu-Gi-Oh!, I just can't keep up anymore. It's not fun, expensive & toxic. That is why I'm going to give MTG a try - Got 2 different 2023 MTG Stater Kits last week... Heck, they even have reference cards! Like you can buy a MTG Deck and it'll have a code which will give you all the cards you've bought irl into the online game MTG Arena. That's wild!

I hate that yugioh went all neckbeard anime on us and now it’s a waifu tcg collector with lolis and so many modern anime looking cards. Its why I quit. Traptrix especially that deck is for pedophiles

It's wild how much hate players give proxies in MTG, when the Head Designer for the last 21 years (but worked there since MTG was only 2 years old) encourages proxies so everyone has access to playing MTG at any level. The best MTG player in the world is most likely unknown because they can't afford the cards needed to play in a tournament.

For things such as cEDH (Competitive Commander) proxies are the norm as in order to keep up with the pace of the game expensive cards are required, I have proxies entire decks where if I were to buy the actual cards it would be well over $10,000

Hey dude! Listen, you blew my mind. Wizards have stopped printing for my country and do not officially release any new sets here anymore. Mtg is pretty much gone. THIS is a lifesaver video for those of us who want to make fun decks and play with friends here. I am gonna buy my first printer for this and have already ordered the 300 gms paper and vinyl paper to make proxies. Thank you so much! Do you have any recommendations for the best quality of printing? What Ink to use or what settings?

Best advice I could give everyone is if you wanna play Yugioh; Play Online or if you’re gonna play Physically, play Retro Formats. It’s substantially cheaper, much more interactive and back and forth, and the TW Format players are much less toxic.

One thing on a company making you feel like they give a shit. At the end of the day their profit margins are where their true loyalty lies. I don’t think that a company can necessarily sustain that “we care attitude” for very long. Of course that’s what everyone wants them to do but at the end is the day they’re going to maximize profits and that always hurts their consumers and most importantly their workers

I’m more on the train of just quitting Yugioh entirely. I’m not really interested in any Yugioh that isn’t the current format because it just feels like I’m playing a completely different game. And since I can’t play modern Yugioh I’d rather just play pokemon. MAYBE one day I’ll participate in an Edison tournament but I don’t like the idea of supporting Konami in any way.

@@noctsickversus9632 every Player hast 20 Life ... U have followers (monsters).an evolve Deck with Up to 10 followers, Amulett (perma spell) and spells( normal /quick spells)... Quick spells can activate in Response to an opponent Attack or at opponent end Phase.... Each Player gain 1 Play Point in their Turn ...u need them to Play follower spells and Amulett or use abilitys .... Max Play Points are 10 .... So u have to think ...should i Play a Card ... Or can i counter next Attack with a quick spell... And the best Thing absout the Game is .... No Ftk/Otk !!!! No 15 min Turns we're Ur opponent have to Look and u Play with Ur self.

I am a new player that started the game again because of master duel, I started tcg in june/july around the time WISE released. During this time I played Eldlich, Labrynth, Mannadium and Branded and even got a regional top 8. I am a university student and really enjoy the game however I want to play competitive Yugioh as its the only way to have fun in my opinion and after not even a year I‘m already starting to feel burnt out due to constantly having to pick up new decks/staples in order to compete

Quitting Yugioh for me was kickstarted by finishing college and no longer having locals and college folk who played the card game. It was also kickstarted by that time being the year of the FTK. Quitting was passive and it came up from going after a different hobby and doing less and less online with Yugioh. Ultimately it wasn’t until several years later that I offloaded most of my Yugioh stuff to friends who still played the game. If I visit them, we still play using a random ass pool of cards. There was a period of time where I didn’t play a tcg at all, but since 2021 I got into Pokémon tcg more competitively, learned One Piece, and learned Flesh and Blood. I keep an Emporio Ivanovo deck in OP just in case, but only just learned FaB so I haven’t built anything for that yet.

Yugioh as a card game is terrible period like it or not compare to the other card games lol, it does not even come close. Runterra, MGT, and to me the best F2P card game shadowverse, love this game.

Edison unironically is actually worse than modern. It's just lightsworn and synchros. I could go on fucking ygopro for that. Like, do yugioh players just not comprehend formats? Pearl-clutching older times isn't a format, that's cube. I'm glad they gotta "shell out 1200" bastard-tax

"Build a budget deck" usually when I think of a card game's budget deck, I think maybe $50 or less, not $300+. Thats a yugioh moment if I ever heard one

You can build budget decks for $50 or less - Virtual World is topping regionals and can come in well under that for example. You just can't play snake-eyes for that price
