We wouldn't recommend you varnish on top of Roxil Wood Protection Cream. However, if it's a stain you're looking for, you can apply Roxil Coloured Wood Preserver before Roxil Wood Protection Cream.

In this case, Roxil Coloured Wood Preserver adds the colour. We do not recommend you apply Roxil Wood Protection Cream over a traditionally painted surface.

We would recommend applying Roxil Wood Preserver before Roxil Wood Protection Liquid for maximum protection, but yes you can use Liquid alone and it will waterproof just as effectively.

Can I use the Dryzone Damp-Resistant Plaster as a finishing coat, or is it best to just use a regular finishing plaster since the chemicals in the damp-resistant plaster won't penetrate the brick anyway?
@SafeguardEuropeLtd

We recommend applying a standard gypsum skim coat to a thickness of approximately 2 mm as a finishing coat.

Used these , three months on, the rods look just the same, the mortar in my wall is still reading 33% on my meter, ( and this is in the summer months ) which is the maximum it will go to. I think I have been conned, big time. Thank god I only did a 10 foot interior wall, as a test before doing the whole house.

I know manufacturer says not to apply over previously sealed brick (with Thompsons water based) but I really need to make sure wall does not permit penetration from wind driven rain, so what would be the worst that could happen if I put StormDry over a previously sealed wall? Will the white of cream still disappear even if it doesn't penetrate or will it make some kind of mess I won't be able to remove? TIA

No, we don't recommend rendering over brickwork after application. Stormdry should be applied to bare masonry walls. Paint forms a barrier that stops Stormdry from penetrating into the brickwork.

VG
