I'm 27 years old and listen to almost every genre of music. I've had "Lost Within" in my playlists for years, but when I discovered more of your music it blew my mind how I could've basically missed it for years. I've been listening up and down all of your titles and it's almost scary how much the songs speak to me. Not necessarily the text or story - the thing as a whole. This one has grown to one of my favorites, but in my opinion the Open Letter album is an absolute masterpiece that holds a special place in my heart.

It seems all my bridges are up in flames And I cannot find a way to cross this river of memories Wasting time just standing here We had a fire that could set ablaze Burning up all the doubt and the shame But those clouds moved in when the cold winds came We fell victim but when I Close my eyes all I see are the Memories like some distant dream Take the loss with a grain of salt but I'm not fooling anybody am I this time We ruled that summer like kings and queens Times that I hold close to me Reckless and fallen for a dream Heads held high till the morning We had a vision, a place to breathe Swore we'd never break the chains But this life has never been a game We fell victim but when I Close my eyes all I see are the Memories like some distant dream Take the loss with a grain of salt but We're not fooling anybody are we this time Hold on to who we were Nothing can hold a candle I'll take away from what we've learned Keep the dreams closer And now we growed separate lives And breaking the ice is getting harder But there's no need to waste our words On what's gone and over We're changing with the seasons, always changing So how in the world did we think That we'd stay the same, we're changing And though we've grown so far Nothing can take away what we've seen and what we've learned We're changing and that's okay We had our time and now we can Hold on to who we were Nothing can hold a candle I'll take away from what we've learned Keep the dreams closer And now we go our separate lives And breaking the ice is getting harder But there's no need to waste our words On what's gone and over

A couple of years ago when this song was first released, And there wasn't a video I, By habit, And I've done it with a lot of stuff that doesn't have a video II don't know it.I listened to it a couple times I don't cheat by looking at the lyrics or anything.I'm not sure if they had a lyric video.I don't think so but The intensity and the words and everything for me.I started picturing people in jail. That shouldn't be , and that's what I based my video on, Not sure.If the band even has seen it or anyone else I kind of keep a low profile, I'm not out to make money on videos just entertainment and my view of them. And I've had my issues with KZbin. Many times and I'm not doing anything except promoting the band and their song not putting a piece of anything into KZbin's pocket who constantly shuts my videos down. Delete my channels says I'm using inappropriate video clips, But it's ironic because all the video clips I use come from fucking youtube in the first place. And when I got a seven days suspension and I appealed and called them hypocrites for telling me my content was inappropriate, That Was the only thing I said when I appealed that you are a bunch of hypocrites.Where do the fuck do you think I get the clips from in the first place. So my little tribute to this song probably three years ago, I'm not sure if it's on here. Most of my videos BEGIN with... HOLLYWOOD'S VIDEOS - And then baby the band and whatever I came up with. If. Your fans of these guys, Feel free to check out the video on my channel and stuff.Maybe somebody knows these guys and I think I did this video like I said , three or four years ago, And I don't make any money but I do push a ban when I trade with other d j's for new material that I haven't heard yet.I definitely throw five fold in on my list... Keep rocking guys.

One of the coolest things happened thanks to this song. I’ve been a fan since 2013 but there’s something about this certain song that I connect with every word and every phrase. Just a few weeks ago on May 25th, they came to Keokuk, Iowa which is where they also shot the music video for “Dear Insecurity” and played a show. This was the second to last song on their set list, and as the intro was rolling, Ryan Cheney looked right at me and said “Kenny! I remember you hitting me up and asking if we could play this one, so this one is for you buddy.” He then proceeded to grab my hand and sing the opening line to the song. I cried so hard when they played this song that it even brought Ryan to tears a bit. Thank you Fivefold for writing such a powerful and very meaningful song. I hope you guys stay together forever!
