Ok, bought one of these Cub 8 mk. II amps (the one with the logo on the left, not right) and I am amazed! Just an incredible beast! Eats my pedals alive. I can’t wait to record it! Also, I got mine in an open box for $139 plus tax and shipping. Just WOW!!!!

What’s the story on this second version of the Cub 8? The older one has a straw grill and the logo is on the right. Also, the tolex is different and there are no rounded edges. Both appear to be Chinese made. This newer one looks more “Laney Like” than the straw grill version. Why isn’t there more info on line about the two different Cub 8’s? This one has already been deleted by Laney, BTW. It’s not even mentioned in their “deleted amps” page.

Thanks for the explanation, I do appreciate but...as sjs793 said, it was not really clear what cable you meant going to what jack. You kind of just floundered as if you were thinking about it as your went. To be honest I could not tell what cable goes where from your video. I love that your shared but remember those that do see your video know even less that you do. So you have to be explicitalty clear which cable goes to what jack. At one point you grabbed one cable and said "this cable goes to the 4 ohm jack", then your change the cable you where holding????? Which one? The first or the second? I hope this helps. Plan what you are going to say might help also. Please take no offense....
