Johannes Reuchlin wrote "The Hebrew Bible" in 1475 using Solomon Bar Isaac's "Sefer Ha Yasher" that was edited by tosafot writer Moses Maimonides to which the books of Moses is attributed. Disederius Erasmus with the help of Pico Della Mirandola and Marsilio Ficino wrote the Novum Instrumentum in 1516 which was renamed Novum Testamentum a few years later. In 1527 Jacob Van Liesveldt dropped the name Hebrew Bible and renamed it the Old Testament then combined it with the Novum Testamentum or in English New Testament, place both books under one cover as a single book and that was called the Holy Bible.
