I think your title is wrong. But I will share about Colossians 2:16-17 since it is the title. ----------------------------------- Colossians 2:8 8 See to it that there is no one who takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception in accordance with human tradition, in accordance with the elementary principles of the world, rather than in accordance with Christ. (NASB) Colossians 2:8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. (NKJV) This verse makes the context "traditions of men" and "basic or elementary principles of the world." Just the same as verses 20-23. Based on this, the issue was not about following God's Law. The issue was about man made rules and regulations that were made about food and drink, festivals, new moons, and sabbaths. Remember Messiah's disciples were eating with unwashed hands and some Jewish leaders took issue with that based on their misunderstanding of what defiles a person. I believe the same was going on here. For "christians" that believe they do not need to keep God's Law found in the Books of Moses which would amount to lawlessness, read what Messiah said He tells those "christians" when He returns in Matthew 7:21-23. He tells them to depart from Him because He never knew them. I recently viewed a video explaining the strong possibility of who the ones passing judgement are here. That would be someone that followed Cynic Philosophy which originated about 500 years before Messiah was born. Their beliefs fit perfectly into what is mentioned here by Paul. Nowhere in all of these verses does it say not to keep God's Laws aka The Law of Moses. 119 Ministries just did a video on Colossians 2:16-17. It is has some food for thought.

A good handful of church goers base the home church and attendance on the music. I say music as to that degree it is no longer worship to them but just music. I have been there and understand. At that point it is no longer worship to God, but rather to glorify the ears of the people. We need to give glory to God no mater the sounds, voice, or beat. Great message!

We must DECREASE, so that HE can INCREASE in our lives. That's why we " die daily".

The Lord our triune God doesn't give us what we ask, He gives us what we need. Are we hungry? He will take our steps to an apple tree. He won't be our delivery boy. Are we thirsty? He will rain on us, He won't be our waiter. We ask Him to give us patience, He will test our patience, for we have to earn the immaterial. God is great, Jesus is Lord, and the Holy Spirit is our guide and protector. Amen 🙏 🙏 🙏

I have met Him. I have seen Him work, and I hope you do too. Whether this election goes one way or the other, there is One who remains on heaven's throne. If He does not exist, what have you to gain or lose from belief in Him? Perhaps the momentary enjoyment of sin, the actions that leave you unfulfilled anyway, in a life that ultimately has no more purpose than the millions of other souls forgotten by their descendants, rotting in the soil. But, if he does exist, you have everything to gain, eternity in His fulfilling presence, goodness, and the last escape from eternal suffering. You also have everything to lose, as He has made it clear that there is only one place for the unrepentant man. Please, reconsider His existence. I know what it is to seek fulfillment from the world. It leaves my dry and empty every time I return to it. But God gives peace. He quiets the roars of my desires, and gives me rest. I pray he do the same for you.

I completely disagree, because if we follow this logic we shouldn't have anything on wheels at home, such as bicycles, roller skates, scooters, skateboards and others.

Praise God for being our safe haven, delivering us from all evil! I therefore bind myself, but also my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquitances, opponents, the children I teach and the body of Christ to desire to protect one's peace at all times while binding to hell every lack of desire to protect one's peace at all times, binding to hell every unequal yoke and common share with anyone lacking desire to protect one's peace at all times, in accordance with this word and 2 timothy 4:18, john 14:27, genesis 1:27, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah, glory to God ❤!

Let's talk about when it comes to our enemies as Christians, the Bible says; -Matthew. 5:44 -But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you -Luke 6:28 -Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you You will do exactly as these scriptures say, and them your enemies will keep going and going and devising more strategies to plot your demise, to curse you differently, to make your life more miserable, they will bear false witness against you also, they will slander you more and a whole lot of unpleasant things. So, what I want to know is; is it wrong to stop praying for them and blessing them but in turn fight back with scriptures like; -Psalm 70:2 -May those who try to kill me be humiliated and put to shame. May those who take delight in my trouble be turned back in disgrace. -Psalm 40:14 -Let those be put to shame and disappointed altogether who seek to snatch away my life; let those be turned back and brought to dishonor who delight in my hurt! -Psalms 35:7-9 -So let sudden ruin come upon them! Let them be caught in the trap they set for me! Let them be destroyed in the pit they dug for me. What’s the way?
