After a lifelong lambretta fan i have over the last 2 years warmed to Vespa. I have to say this is the most good looking scoots ive seen. Hats off to you. Love it.

Very nicely done Dave. Anne shared this with me, so I'm showing this to my husband Steve

Dave what type of rebuild did you do? full pistons and rings exc or just rings and gaskets ?
@kdharris12657 жыл бұрын
Kenneth Lee I have yet to get that far into the engine. I lapped the valves, new seals, changed a lot of the engine gaskets. But yeah, I need to do the rings and hone the cylinders. It's going need cam chains also.

Dave Harris ok I'm in the process now did a lot of polishing mild port and crazy cleaning and I'm at the stage of assembling tryin to find a good set of qlty rings out there if you know ?

Kenneth Lee , I might try this set from 4into1.com. They have a bunch of Honda stuff.

4into1.com seems to be pretty up front about their stuff, like if they've had complaints about a certain product, they'll tell you. Just email them.

im really sorry to say this but the seat looks so bad i love the color and the pipes bbut the seat just no
@kdharris12658 жыл бұрын
yeah, I probably wouldn't do the seat exactly the same way again. But, the guy that bought the bike liked it, so that's all that matters. Working on a CX Honda now. Brat seat. :)

What are your pipes? And if you striaght piped them did you reject? Thanks!
@kdharris126510 жыл бұрын
Stock pipes that have some of the baffle cut off. (Basically cut down a little). With pipes as they are, and pod filters, I had to go to main jet of 116 from 110 and pilot jet 41 from 40.

Dave Harris Oh, also raised main jet needle and messed with mixture screws.
