Yes I think so, since the electrical conductivity, melting point and more things decrease im sure the reactivity will decrease with this.

How is lattice energy of NaCl greater than MgCl? Na and Mg are in the same period shouldnt l.e be more for Mg

16:50 Shouldn't the charge of Mg still be +2 in MgCl as well? Like even though the extra positive charge isn't making a bond, shouldn't it effect the force of attraction?
