Most of the time the bushings and the weights start to go bad and make weird knocking noise. These clutches are pretty bad engineered and tend to go bad really fast.

What I meant to say is that sound is completely normal. Our washer sounds like that and it’s not even a manna.

It’s Normal. Most belt-drive washers make that noise. It’s normal

I wish mine sound like that, I barely hear mine and the clothes comes out wet, was bought off of Offer Up, he got me, if I c him, I think I’m going to have to give him one.

@myPaPaa actually, mine was making funny sounds when I commented this, and it ended up that the agitator was no longer working, we upgraded to an LG and I'm glad we did! I liked the Amana but sadly it only lasted our family about 3 1/2 years
