Oof, great cast!! I like how their colours help tell the story. Towel and deckchair with red stripes, their tops often match, whether in colour or style and only with Arie showing up, it changes (but the patterns still match: flowers). Untill the gettogether, where Liz wears something white, but Saffie stops at beige. Close, but not there. And a dark blue (saphire blue, haha!) at the end, where she's herself. And Liz still wears white. Also ties together with the favourite colour red. It just doesn't match with saphire blue. Would've loved if she visited the ice cream shop again at the end and said "Thanks, seems I'm not good with ice cream. Would take a coffe though." and the girl at the counter would smile at her. But the ending the movie had is also pretty good!

I don't know, I feel like they were heading somewhere and took a detour. Maybe I'll feel differently if I watch it again. Saffy uses her eyes to tell the story well.

I see the Ice Cream Shop is there Too...Ice Cream A La Copenhagen, in a place called Dromana. I grew up in Reseda, Los Angeles, where the whole area is filled with filming backdrops......

What Fun! If you run Cafe Del Sol Australia on Google Maps It shows you a location down on the Mornington Peninsula near Melbourne. I imagine myself there........wonderful scenery and caravan parks.

I liked this short a lot, especially the central performance and music. Also the awkardness between the characters is great as most of us when we were teenagers were like that. I would have liked some more scenes with girl from Ice Cream shop, it just felt like very tagged on to give Sapphire a happy ending. I think another longish scene between them would have been nice just to see their was a connection there. I'm fine with the ending with straight friend as it feels very realistic , they needed each other for that time and place but life just moves on and their friendship probably ends there. Great short.

I love how their names can literally be pronounced as Lez as in lesbian and Sapphi as in... sapphic. that was really creative and im glad i noticed that :D

Stunning! The two main characters acted like young teenagers absolutly perfectly. And how fantastic was the script? I'm amazed how much more convincing this low- budget movie is than the over- hyped Hollywood block-busters. Love it.

Good acting from all involved especially the young actor Mackenzie Mazor. Why is it that Girls and Women tend to make friends easier ? Anyway whoever was it that said Men are from Mars & Women are from Venus.
