I wonder if it would work if you let chocolate chips warm on the cake and then spread it before adding the frosting on top.

My Grandma made these for me all through my childhood, and when I moved away, she made me a big carton of them to take with me. She's having her 94th birthday tomorrow, in a nursing home, she's not doing so great now. I'm going to make her a couple trays. Thanks for the recipe.

I'm fond of peanut butter confections.. the secret topping I learned from my great grandma though is maple syrup. (Or honey) But there's something about peanut butter and maple syrup that just mesh so well.🤤

How is this “Korean”? You could have just as easily called it the French burger, the Polish burger, or the Brazilian burger and it would have had the same effect. Sad 😢

I made this but I cut the cake in half horizontally and put half of a doubled recipe of icing in between. Then I replaced the top layer and frosted the top completely like a traditional cake.

Why are they called afghans?
@teamfajitas10 ай бұрын
It's name came from the afghan pakul or hat, flat and rounded, like the shape of biscuits.

I did this as a bundt cake but my frosting didnt come out right. It was lumpy so I should have swifted the powdered sugar. But what I did was put it on a pan and put it on the stove at medium till boil and mixed it till all the powder sugar dissolve. Im still waiting for the cake to come out of oven. It took 52 mins in oven at 350 degrees.

Didn't you ever realize that you don't have all the parts for the air fryer? You are cooking on the bottom of the appliance instead of on a rack or a a grill plate.
