The beginning sounds like being violently Televated toward a folding wormhole of Roulette Dares into a haunted dimension. Tremulant and taken off guard, you're still trying to comprehend these Landscape Tantrums. Why are these vibrations engulfing you so ominous and full of Bedlam. Then the calm verse riff emerges with Luciforms. That's you exiting the vortex to find yourself is an obscure new world full of surrealism and Tarantism. The lyrics cascade and conjure imagery that would only make sense to Salvador Dalí. The chorus is an Inertiatic explosion of ESP sonic booms. This delicate dance between eruptive and Soothsayer instrumentation gives complex dynamics throughout. Which then evolves, transposes, and mutates for the benefit of existence. Time is mandatory to witness such sonomorphs. When the intermission manifests, you have already been overwhelmed for over 6 earth minutes. So a calm flow is welcomed as is the natural order of emotions. You think it's over. Though, your sedated nerves are Faminepulsed back to high pressure. The heavy chorus returns to melt any face within earshot, to reveal no one behind the mask. This music so potent it distorts even the vocals. "In the end they just gagged me to make him come out." The horns section near the end is mathematical tranquility. The guitar solo therein is a lesson in virtuosity. One can Atone Vicariously as the whole world dies to this music. Yet the outro is the same as the intro. So back through the vortex to whence I came With Twilight As My Guide. Back to the filth I once knew. Back to the earthly realm. For human ears were never meant to witness such muscial mastery.

The more you look at it, the more this artwork gets weird. It looks like they're carrying that thing somewhere, but which way are they walking? Look at their feet. They're not walking at all. They're just standing there, holding that thing. WHAT?

Mars Volta on acid is fckin crazy. Me he tenido que quitar los audífonos o pausarle en momentos de lo brutal que se puede poner la experiencia. Recomendado 10\10 sobre todo el Francés the mute y amo Scabdates, en DXM es otro pedo.

Yes, I'm doing it. This is a complex and dense time signature track. 0:00 to 2:17 - 6/4 (lot of 3/4, but mostly 6/4) 2:17 to 2:52 - 9/4( easier to count as 18/8) 2:52 to 3:59 - 6/4 (lot of 3/4, but mostly 6/4) 3:59 to 4:31 - 9/4 4:31 to 4:48 - 8/4 (if you say it's 4/4, would fuck it up) 4:48 to 4:59 - 10/8 + 9/8 alternating which results into a 19/8 4:59 - a 6/4 bar 5:01 - a 5/4 bar So 4:59 to 5:03 makes a 11/8. 5:03 to 5:46 - 6/4 (lot of 3/4, but mostly 6/4) 5:52 to 6:42 - no time signature at all I guess 6:42 to 7:24 - 4/4 (it's actually not 4/4 but it almost is, music isn't always precise, and neither my time signature countings are lol) 7:24 to 7:47: no time signature at all i guess x2 7:47 to 8:15- 9/4 (starting to count this here in this part is hard to assimilate that it is 9/4, cause the first moment of the counting is empty if you'd like to count it exactly as the 2 choruses before this one. But if you'd rather count it as the way it is, you can call it an 8/4 that comes before the 9/4 bars.) 8:15 to 9:38 - 17/8 (4+4+4+5) 9:38 to 9:42 - a 5/8 bar and a 7/8 bar 9:42 to 9:47 - 4/4 9:47 to 9:53 - two 9/8 bars (this one is pretty cool) 9:53 to 10:18 - 17/8 (4+4+4+5) 10:18 to 10:22 - a 5/8 bar and a 7/8 bar 10:22 to 10:27 - 4/4 10:27 to 10:38 - 9/8 10:39 to 10:41 - a 7/8 bar 10:41 to 11:02 - 4/4 11:02 to 11:19 - 2 bars of 13/8 (7+6) and 4 bars of 14/8 (7+7) 11:19 to 11:22 - a 9/4 bar 11:22 to 11:39 - 2 bars of 13/8 (7+6) and 4 bars of 14/8 (7+7) 11:39 to 11:45 - no time signature at all i guess x3 (at least purposefully) 11:45 to 14:12 - 4/4 (3+5) 14:12 to 14:37 - 17/8 (4+4+4+5) 14:37 to 14:41 - a 5/8 bar and a 7/8 bar 14:41 to 14:46 - 4/4 14:46 to 14:54 - you can count it as many ways, but I count it as 5/4+5/4+6/4+3/4+3/4 14:54 to 14:58 - 5/4 14:58 to end - 6/4 (lot of 3/4, but mostly 6/4) the counting pace changes so many times in this song, it gets very confusing. but the biggest issue is to give the chorus a time signature, it is just an uncommon piece and I can't explain why

I remember thinking the beginning of this song making me feel like I was suddenly sucked into a bizarre and extra-dimensional world of mosaic alien beings and bright, unimaginable colors and shapes. Like jumping into a kaleidoscopic realm where creatures (like those from the anime "Neon Genesis Evangelion") warped out of. I was pretty sober, but the music was pushing so hard at being this foreign mind-altering experience.
