Claus Wriborg, a Deaf immigrant from Holland, was bullied for being deaf but not after he became a hero in the Civil War. He even died a hero by saying the the surgeon to ignore his leg until all the others worse off than him were saved first. www.nps.gov/people/clauswriborg.htm

I could always imagine visually, but, starting learn ASL, it connected my thinking and moving and I needed that. Yes, memory processing, like movie Avatar, bird, connect hairs, eyes grow wide, that-That~ Emotion become expression, ASL expression, that becomes practice, becomes confidence, a self reinforcing path to learning ASL. Now, I make stories for visual expressive practice, collect ASL teachers in my channel list, information absorb every-day different, that important, the language bridge must have many-many sources, different hands, different style, rhythm, everything together~

Return on investment and ambiguity of sign language as well as interpretation values. My thoughts were the search for "directrix" in ASL leading to a return on investment having an ASL opinion like a Google KZbin algorithm shows a depiction of association like it's similar content The computer science language dictionary and mathematical reasoning sign language dictionary and interpretations; when 'directrix' and the words 'wreaks' and 'reeks' are contemplated as relevant when spoken (overlooked in writing/ reading as well as sign language. And within mathematics (obviously finance as well)).

I have a question, im profoundly deaf in my two ears but with my cochlear hearing aids i can ear normally like a humain. i talk very good for a deaf person, actually when i dont show my hearings aids, people dont think that im deaf. Hearings aids technologies are evolving good, so, do u think I could be a airline pilot even with my handicap?

If a deaf person can drive a car, they should be allowed to fly a plane if that is their passion.

My name Demecus Griffin. I’m deaf myself well not 100% I’m deaf in one ear. My hearing is bad in my right ear I can hear about 65/75% in my right ear with my hearing aid. Without it I’m deaf like crazy ppl. I’ve been a professional truck driver since 2015. Most people don’t even recognize I’m hearing impaired and talk extremely well. I’m now working on getting my pilot license. I want a new adventure now lol. Going on now 9 yrs as a trucker. Stay safe out there y’all. 🎉😎

He and I are new friends and discussing stocks as we speak. So God bless you and I hope to learn more about this. I know my friend will.

Aside from enabling deaf pilots fuller privileges, printed data communications between ATC and pilots would save many lives each year. Radio communications are filled with static, vary greatly in sound quality, and are often "stepped on" by others. A print-out would be an accurate written record of your last clearance for permanent reference.

I read an article a few years ago that stated when a person is born without or loses a sense, the brain slowly 'reassigns' those cells to process other sensory input. So Elinor and most Deaf people have a higher number of brain cells processing the visual input. That's why she noticed the cow despite being as engrossed in her work as her hearing colleagues.

No, as a hearing person I don't consider Deaf of Hard of Hearing people disabled. The Deaf and Hard of Hearing are their own language and culture, such as English and Spanish. Labeling deafness as a disability is like saying, "oh, you don't speak Spanish? You must be disabled." There's nothing wrong with the deaf/hard of hearing community, they can do all we can do, just without sound

I have single sided deafness, it has never been a problem in my entire life, actually my parents only discovered when I was 13y and only because I told them. until today none of my friends knows it either. Now I'm 18y, I'm finishing school and I've always dreamed of being an airline pilot. You guys think that it would be possible for me to pass the class 1 medical exam? (I'm not American, sorry for my English)

It's no different here in Brazil, the Deaf around here can't even try school, and in the medical exam they are excluded and discriminated against. I signed the petition, wish you good luck, we're fighting around here too.
